Good day to you, Star Gang. It is I, your Keyboard Warrior, bringing you the day that was in the Simulation Hockey League. Today the Toronto North Stars will be going into Manhatten to play the Rage, and to Edmonton to face the Blizzard in some exciting pre-season action.

Luffy Richard took to the ice for the first time in North Star Blue, showing some signs of nervousness, but also that he can still pass the puck with the best of them. My roommate, the most famous of charity draft picks, has been putting in a lot of work in the off-season, and he is hoping he can show the Toronto Head Office that he is worth the cost of the uniform they've put on him.

Now, I seem to have lost my notes somewhere so this will be a short report straight from the dome.

The first game did not go well for our beloved North Stars. They gave up two power-play goals in the first period, which set the pace early for the Manhatten Rage. Losing the special teams' battle meant the North Stars lost the game with the final score being three to six in favor of the accursed home team whose foul power-play magic spelled doom for our scrappy Stars.

Well, the second game couldn't have gotten any worse, but the Simulation must have heard the mutterings of the beleaguered North Stars, and it in fact got much worse as they came into Edmonton and got hit by a snowstorm so bad some might have called it a Blizzard. Get it? Because they are the Edmonton Blizzards? Anyways the North Stars lost two to ten. At the end of the game, I think they let the waterboy, the mascot, and a cheerleader take some power-play time. I think that was a bit much, a little rude, and an inch too far, but the fans sure loved it.

Luffy Richard picked up an assist and was a minus-four on the day. four hits and a blocked shot. Well, at least he was physical. If there is one thing you can count on Luffy being, it's physical. Seriously, in our apartment, he just bumps into things. Walls, chairs, desks, doors, the fridge. Come to think of it, maybe he needs glasses. That would explain why his accuracy is so low.

Anyways,

Until next time,

Shine on!
