Simulation Hockey League

Hey there everyone, TSN here and today we are going to be doing things slightly different. We have set up a nice table and chair for our special Guest today. Today not only will we be interviewing our special guest, we are also going to be playing a hockey trivia game with him. Well call it what you want, but how it works is, we here wil ask Our special guest questions. He has 10 seconds to respond, if he gets 5 right out of 10 then we will give him a free Ticket to the upcoming Olympic. So who is our special guest? well this guest is none other then....DRRIZIZIIZZYYYY DRAKEE!!!. I dont know if you wanna still call him a "special guest" because he has been in the tsn studios about 10 times now eh.


Alright so lets start this interview.

Hey there drizzy, havent been here in a while eh.

Drake: yea, been about a whole week.

aha funnny guy. Alright so lets start talking. First off, thanks for being here on such short notice drake.

Drake: no problem.

Tell us, how is life going so far for you. 9 games into the NWJHL have u noticed a change in life?

Drake: lifes been great. Obviously i have noticed a change. I mean my life was way different before this. The NWJHL is a league people dream of playing in James. My life before this was more easyier and calm. the ohl is a great league, but it is what it is. I have learned alot from the OHL, it really helped me as youth. I think last years season in the OHL was a great one, i learned alot from that. and now to bring that over into the NWJHL is great. The NWJHL is 10 times bigger then the OHL. Its crazy man. its a dream come true. Getting drafted this year was a big thing for me. I learned alot, made alot of friends, ive become a better person and player. My goal is now to be successful in life and in the SHL. I want to win. Life now if different. For me its about working hard, Getting fit, training, having fun, and playing my best every shift. I dont go home anymore looking forward to playing xbox. I go home looking forward to train and i go to the arena looking forward to win.

wow, huge response, great one aswell. Tell us how was ur 2 days at cleveland. i remember u going there. Infact i saw u there aswell, i was doing a interview in the cleveland studios.

Drake: well i went there for only 2 days. The team had a 2 day break so i decided to hit up the beach and relax, but at the same time i kept on training. it was great, cause i just got to relax and think about hockey and what i need to improve and stuff. I never saw you there but its pretty cool that you saw me. Maybe you should have called me for anohter interview aha

ahahah. So tell us, 9 games in the NWJHL , you guys sit 1st in the eastern conference and 3rd overall. How does it feel.

Drake: absolutely unreal. Obviously we are aiming for first and will keep on doing that. we are all winners here and i know we will keep on trying. We started the season horrifically, going 0-3. But now were 5-3-1 and that i think is a really good thing for us. We worked really hard and we will continue to. We are all really motivated and determined. We cant wait till tonights game.

The start of the seaosn was decent for you. you were top 10 in shots block, top 3 in +/- and had 2 points in 4 games. But now you have improved since then. leading all d man in points with 7 in 9 games, and +/- in top 7 and minutes played in top 10 and a few more stats. Anyways my real question is, how did you improve.

Drake: how did i improve? i thimk the whole team improved. We started horribly but once we found our rhythm we were a force. I mean with the team playing better each player found there game. Im really happy about these stats , but i want to keep on getting better, there so many great players out there. The stat that matter to me the most is winning.

How big do you think did the captain descision have on the team.

Drake: HUGE. adua stepped up a ton after his captaincy. He brough out the best in players. wasnt it what, like we went on a 3 game win streak after the captain was announced. I think adua did great, i remember the day he was announced captain he gave a real nice speech. That got everyone going and we all soon found our game, its was great.

i agree. There was a rumour floating around today regarding you getting in a brawl with Light at practice. is this true?

Drake: i always as you this, where do you guys get tehse rumour??! *laughs*. Let me tell you this, me and light are great buds, i think hes a sick guy and i would never scrap with him. this is a false rumour.

Thanks for that. But i think this one is true, its been surfing the twitter web lately. Here look at this tweet. "Adua and tripp seen trash talking after each PGF and Detroit game. #Rivals?"

Drake: aha, i think alot of people trash talk in hockey. I just feel if you're going to go around saying stuff and not back it up. Then ur a noob. if you say stuff then back it up, dont run away. That is just my opinion. But let me actually tell you this, tripp and Adua are both amazing guys, and this true, they hate each other. they both chirp each other alot. Its going to be interesting to see what happens on friday, i wonder if they both go at it . 2 great guys dropping the gloves, that would be a interesting Tilt.

Yup, so Tell us about the SHl. Have you picked any favorites yet?

Drake: Favorite teams? uhm ive said this before. But ill say it again. It wouild just be an honour getting drafted in the SHL. I just have to focus on the NWJHL right now and the Falcons. I think the SHL is the next big thing. And i know it is, but right now i have to focus on falcons and our game tonight. But i obviously do have some favorite teams, i guess everyone does, you guys dont need ot owrry about that right now and neither do i.

Drake: uhm thats a tough one. i think Draco Malfoy got drafted at 6 and harry potter right after him aat 8?
