It is came to out attention that goalie
Monty Montgomery was not properly regressed during the offseason. We do acknowledge that Monty Montgomery was not in the regression list, even though he played for Toronto last season, which caused some confusion. We are working internally on making sure that this won't be an issue moving forward. Even though this was the circumstance, he should have been regressed properly, no matter how small the TPE can be. We are fining @
JayWhy and @Citizen of Adraa half their GM pay and suspending Monty Montgomery for the amount of games played.
So JayWhy and Citizen of Adraa are getting fined for 3 mil and Monty Montgomery will be suspended for 7 games.
Of course, they will have the right to appeal.

He was not even a free agent. He played on Toronto the year prior. he should have been on the list regardless. Thats why we will be checking internally on why it happened and how we can stop it from happening

He was not even a free agent. He played on Toronto the year prior. he should have been on the list regardless. Thats why we will be checking internally on why it happened and how we can stop it from happening

Seems like the fines to the GM team are a bit steep when the list provided by the league was wrong.

Soft agree. It’s still a responsibility of a GM to make sure all regression is done. Part of the reason why our draft seasons are on our player page. We know that 11 seasons from that date is the start of regression.
