We're making the jump to FHM 8! But eagle-eyed users may notice that means we've totally skipped over FHM 7! One can't help but wonder... why? What was wrong with it?
Your task: Write the LEAST appealing bullet point list of FHM 7 features you can imagine. What features would be so inconvenient for a sim league that we'd have no choice but to skip it for the next iteration of the game?

You see, FHM7 uses the number seven. Normally that is a lucky number. But for some it is unlucky and evil. So someone in HO decided "let's not do that actually"

As someone who's never played FHM7 and just quickly Googled FHM7 features, something from FHM7 that would not be a good addition for me would be the "Redesigned scouting system" because in the world of SHL, we don't use the FHM scouting feature at all so this would not be needed for us in FHM8.

I would imagine, much like @James Truong has already eluded to, a redesigned scouting system is definitely a no-go for us here.  We already have problems with the scouts in game arbitrarily editing key attributes +/1 one whenever the game feels froggy.  We really don't need an "improvement" on this.  We just need it to go away in online leagues (or an option to turn it off)
Every user has to login to watch the games live at the same time or the sim will not be able to run at all. (25 words)
FHM 7 features that are totally made up and not at all already a part of the SIM engine:
- All bird related teams from locales starting with H are good regardless of their actual players and TPE.
FHM 7 actually bases player skill on how long a player's name is, so to prevent players like Jean-Uhtred Ragnarsson/Soderberg-Tremblay from having an unfair advantage Head Office opted to skip from 6 straight to 8.
FHM7
- Every time a goal is scored, the song "My Humps" plays as the goal horn in its entirety and cannot be changed or removed.
FHM7 made goalie attributes matter, a truly heinous crime that was thankfully rectified in FHM8. Hats off to HO for quickly identifying this and skipping to a version where we still don't matter.

Quite honestly Fhm7 on the 2d Sim engine was just bad.. We could have switched to it to get the box score exports, but I wouldn't think it was a good idea to switch to the different engine along with that move. It is much better in 8.
FHM7 didn't support the naming of a team called Coolorado Rappers or Coolorado Nappers or something like that. The great thing about FHM8 is it allows for that

i have no idea how fhm works but every time someone joins the stream confetti should explode everywhere hindering the players. sounds like a good enough reason to skip to the newest version
The worst features of FHM 7:
- Only live simming
- Every person has to update his own player in game so has to buy a copy
- Hamilton helped build FHM 7
FHM cutting league customization and custom league import features would be cool. FHM is already significantly behind OOTP in this regard so making it less customizable would probably be pretty bad for sim leagues.
