Hi everyone I hope you are all having a great Tuesday! I noticed that I got passed over from making any wjc team and wanted to put a message that I would be interested in playing for any team if you got room
I am a max earning rookie over the 350 cap and bring a positive/supportive presence to the locker room. So if you are looking for a forward I would love a shot to be part of the wjc tournament and have something fun to look forward to in the offseason
Same here, unfortunate because WJC is one of the better aspects of the SHL...
We can start our own wjc team with blackjack and hookers

Where is your player from? Cause that could be a big part of it

hey there, because you weren’t updated before playoffs, the build than would be used in WJC is not your capped 350, but I think the roughly 230 you had. There were some people with less TPE selected over you but those were probably tactical choices based on builds and not strictly TPE based, Not sure exactly why though

My player is Ukrainian so he is not bound to one team I think right?
Players shouldn't be teamless in the WJC, that kinda defeats the purpose of the WJC.

Hey Vic thanks for letting me know! I wasn't sure how WJC works as its been 20 seasons since I have been a rookie in the juniors lol. Do you know if my player has the option to join any team still?

I assume you're being sarcastic. Doesn't change that what I mentioned is a fact, and it's just a statement not a criticism towards anyone.
Okay look, bold changes were made to the teams after looking at the amount of active players. There were a lot of active players, probably more than the ten teams allotted. These ten teams will be pretty equal in terms of how they will fare on the fake ice, but some IAs made it over actives just because of where they are from. Not ideal, and a great thing to change moving forward.
As I have found out, it is not easy to change teams in FHM, nor is it easy to change teams in the index. So that makes experimenting with team changes much harder.
Last season, there were people upset that they were picked to play on a team that wasn’t their own nation in order to fill teams and now people are asking for this to happen.
In a perfect world, there would be enough space for each team to have exactly 20 actives from their own country. Maybe next season.

12 teams would have solved a lot of problems this tournament but sometimes in a league like this where you are dependent on different people and programs, it’s not as easy as saying it out loud.

Well my apologies for assuming it just comes off not so much as joke when it's a comment coming from the WJC Commish.
I genuinely want you to understand I'm not criticizing you or any decision you made.
Just simply stating everyone in my opinion should have a team, that really is all.
I've been HO in WJC, J and SHL. I know how it is.
