So been here since s20, finally won a championship in the SHL!! Feels right that its as a member of the Panthers. Any questions are welcome & appreciated.
Try again next season??
I'm feeling great, winning a championship has lifted a bit of a weight off of my shoulders. After all the seasons I've spent with the Panthers and all of the times that we've been close to winning it all, you begin to wonder if you're cursed or something.. glad that I could shake that feeling this season with a great group of teammates.
I felt like signing with the Panthers would put me in an excellent situation and give me a great chance to finally win a cup. The team is just so complete and honestly looks set to challenge for championships for a long time. The preseason results were very encouraging and while not exactly what we envisioned, the regular season results showed the teams promise. The teams strong play down the stretch definitely was exciting and not gonna lie, I felt like we had a great shot at a championship heading into the playoffs. Knocking off the Blizzard was huge, things really seemed to fall into place.
Just being around the people in the SHL and grinding away is motivation. It's honestly something that kind of faded away for a period of time. I think all of the close calls that we had with the Panthers when I had players such as Valterri Bottas & JL Reflieux kinda made me feel like maybe I wasn't going to win a championship. I think that motivation to do whatever I could to help my team achieve that goal came back with Piastri. I wanted that to happen with Minnesota but we just weren't getting there.. glad that the Panthers welcomed me back to the organization.
I guess we'll just have to work on evening things out!
Top of the world in Laguna?? How did you know I lived up here... it's nice! On sunny days you can see up and down the coast a pretty good ways. Really helps me decide where to go surfing.
My favorite part was probably the last few games. Things were looking really good for us and I started to realize that we had a really good chance of sealing the deal. The play by play work by our crew was awesome, really helped give you a good idea of what was going on out on the ice. Our goaltender was awesome. It seems like the trend in the SHL these days is to leave your goalie on an island and hope that a puck or two will hit them during the game. It's really nice to have such a stud like GRZEGORZ BRZECZYSZCZYKIEWICZ in net. ( Yes, I copy pasted that)
Mennään pojat! So glad that we could win a championship together. Almost feels as good as that one we won together with the Raiders. You were a big reason that I wanted to sign with the Panthers. Look forward to more success as teammates in the future.

I'm sorry, I know it's disappointing but I wasn't taking second place time.
I'm going to try not to lose the cup floating on a mattress in the Gulf of Mexico again!

No disrespect to the panthers, I'm a firm believer that Los Angeles sweeping them is a huge fluke and robs the Wolfpack of truly accomplishing what their capable of. I've spent the last few days in pure disbelief and it just doesn't make sense to me. I've spent the entire regular season watching the Wolfpack play great hockey it's just not fair.
If the Wolfpack lose again I will face that the Panthers deserved the win, but I am just 100% sure it was a fluke and does a big disservice to the Wolfpack and the SHL.
