Hey everyone it's none other than Dale Murphy here to report about the Forge's draft!

While the Forge only had one first round pick (shame they couldn't get 45 like Montreal and Edmonton), they, with the 198h overall pick selected Mark "The Tater Tot" Jagerson.

Jagerson currently plays for the Kelowna Knights. He is a center, putting up just 16 points (2-14) in his first full season with the Knights. But it came partially due to a PDO of just 97.2. The Forge must've liked what they saw from his possession numbers, at 39.5% but with a rel of .9% as a rookie, showing despite his young age, he can play as well as the rest of the Knights team. The Knights hope to rebound from a 20-43-3 season when the regular season starts up again.

Philly had a second round pick at 28 from Tampa. They selected 3WW Wingmate-Roc. The Right winger for the Quebec City Citadelles had a line of 11-34-45. A great passer from that spot.

In the second round at pick 38 they took The Cod Father. He is a left winger for the Maine Timber, with a like of 17-28-45, he can really put up points. Quite the opposite of Jagerson, Father's Timer went 45-17-4, good for second in the league, but they fell to Newfoundland in the semifinals.

That would be all the drafting the Forge elected to do. With a strong roster, and now two more young players, they were content to not draft at 58 in the third round. Juice Williams would be the next player selected at 60, Trent Rivera at 64, Realpolitik Devious Heghog at 69, Timo Leppanen at 75, Smash Davis at 80, Connor McDusty at 81, Scape Goat at 89, Daquavion Davis II at 101,  Kris at 121, Simon Wymann at 142 joe biggs at 161,TJ Longpre at 181 and Mason Chernezky at 201 will all try to prove the Forge, as well as the Edmonton Blizzard, the New England Wolfpack, and the Calgary Dragons wrong.

That's all for today folks!
Best of luck to Jagerson and Father as they being their Philly careers!

Signing off,
Dale Murphy
