Hello everyone! Im gonna win the cup. I have an announcement to make! As the next season looms ahead, and with the retirement of Angus McFifce XVIII, the Atlanta Inferno were looking for a new captain. This time, to spice things up, the locker room was tasked with voting who they wanted to represent the locker room leadership on the ice, by voting for three of their peers. I want to say that the locker room is a healthy mix of old players combined with many greener players which feels really good. The votes were evenly distribued overall, showing the respect for the respect everyone has for the player next to them.

Enough rambling, here comes the announcement (this is the announcement of the announcement btw):

Inferno  Inferno  Inferno  Captain : Shōyō Hinata @Gordon Bombay  Inferno  Inferno  Inferno

Gordo as we call him has been part of the team for his whole majors career, meaning since season 65. The name Hinata sounds familiar to the users who are looking at All-Star rosters and Awards nomiation has he has been at the top of the leaderboards amongst the offensive forwards for quite a while. In the locker room, everyone loves gordo, they like his silly side and never fail to ping him when it's time to talk about appartments size or apple cores.

Inferno  Inferno  Inferno Alternate Captain: Jiggle E. Puff @"Zeagle"  Inferno  Inferno  Inferno

Zeagle is the first of the alternate captains, having been a part of the locker room for what feels like 3 years, an appreciated user with a snapping sense of humor. He is a nuclear engineer like homer simpsons. E. Puff has been part of the inferno since his draft year, being the first player being drafted by micool132 in a weird turn of events where hotdog and glutes couldnt be at the draft! In his 3 pro years, Jiggl has been close to a point per game player and bring much depth and skill to the forwards group.

And now, the third part of the leadership group:

Inferno  Inferno  Inferno Kristian Seppanen @MrPresident  Inferno  Inferno  Inferno

MrPresident is part of the greener faces I was mentioning at the start of this forum post. Being on his first generation player, President quickly became a known user amongst the locker room but also across the site and many other discords related to hockey and/or related to other stuff. His presence is appreciated by all in the locker room, and we noticed how funny he was when he said he could eat 2 bagels in 2 sittings on discord. That was hilarious. Seppanen will be a rookie defenseman this season, and him having a letter will maybe add pressure to perform but otherwise shows how much the players next to him think he can handle it.

As I just suffered a power outage, i will cut it short but I want to say how close the votes were and how much it means to me personnally that many users in the locker room are liked by their peers, sears, leppy, bongo, charlie, duck, simo, ferda, figgy, crunk, nour and duff all had votes in this captaincy race, a true testament to the locker room quality hotdog has been building.

shoutout to our prospects and alumnis that voted.
