They are definitely a top 3 California based SHL franchise.
They are easily one of my top 20 draft destinations if I could choose.
but don't tell them that!

Once again... Carolina... the team that never scouted me. The hurt the pain, yet a still laude your organization as one of the leaders in the SMJHL. May you lose forever, amen.
This rival goes way back to my first player, my first introduction into the league. From a very old St. Louis Scarecrow, I would have to say I actually love the city of Detroit, and jump on the chance to go there whenever I can.
@Japan, this kind of started by Arty but I identify most with Czechia so I'll play along. The fact that you were able to come together and create a new IIHF team and have a great run from the start that to a gold in a league dominated by a small number of teams is honestly incredible. Kudos!
Honestly Leo doesn’t have any rivals and I don’t know who chicagos rivals are, but from their time in the J, Leo and Simo Jask… however it’s spelled, we’re the two best defensive defenseman at the time so a small rivalry formed some media was posted. Simo is extremely talented and writes some pretty good media
St. Louis has an excellent management staff that have turned what was a difficult team into a true powerhouse. If they keep it, they will easily be among the best teams in the SMJHL.
The Texas Renegades have been the model of consistency and as someone who used to manually update them frequently I can see why! They have so many active players updating each week!
Big Sweg has no enemies and sees nobody else as a rival, so he would just like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!
@gwdjohson gabe wd johnson is my biggest rival and whatever team he may be on is a team i usually dislike. However today, i will apologise to him and allow him to say im gonna win the cup once.
The New Orleans spectors is genuinely a warm team with great leadership out of Joe K. Granted I’m not the most talkative and warm locker room teammate but the team is good.
I would gave to say that the hamilton steelhawks are a really good team with a good gm right now and gunna be a problem in a couple of seasons in the shl.
Those darn Colorado Raptors swept us last season. However, they're built for success and are currently sitting 4th in the standings. The players, coaches and GMs are working very well together and could make a deep run this year.
As it stands I would consider the Pride our rivals from last season considering our nail-biter games in the championships, and knowing we gave the eventual winners a run for their money. Obviously I could just say they're good players, but it's obviously a lot more than that. The tactics and skill on display were tremendous
NEW consistently puts on a good performance in the playoffs. Ever time we meet it seems to end in heartbreak.
Branding is also pretty tight.
I like the Logo and colors of the san diego tidal, they go well together and really fit the overall vibe of the city, very fitting especially after i visited last spring break
