Team Canada is pretty cool, even though they beat Latvia in the IIHF final. They have things like poutine and maple syrup and are generally polite so they are pretty ok in my book!
LAP is one of the most consistently well run organizations in the league, and knowing we have to be the best team in the world just to win our division on any given season pushes us to do better. I couldn't ask for a better division with better people to play against, and having my favorite active goalie in @Zerg as my top rival makes it that much better. The guy's a future hall of famer for sure.
The Buffalo Stampede are probably the Toronto North Stars biggest rival so I am thinking about writing something nice about them. Buffalo has always had good coaching and punch above their class tpe wise
I think I've heard Seattle classified as Manhattan's rival, and my compliment is that while I wasn't a fan of the branding at first, it has grown on me and I really dig the colors.
I'm not sure who our rivals would be right now. We've had some good run ins with New England in the playoffs during my career. I like that team and respect all of them. Uhhh, we're in the same division as Baltimore who is another team that I respect. I really have nothing negative to say about anybody we play, I like them all. No ill-will whatsoever.
Finland, Finland, Finland
The country where I want to be
Chasing wingers or going sauna or just watching T.V.
Finland, Finland, Finland
It's the country almost for me

Even though you beat our a$$es twice in one tournament I always had a soft spot for you smart folks from up north.
Kellä onni on se onnen kätkeköön.
the vancouver whalers have a nice logo (love the whale fin and coloring) and i think their color scheme (green, blue, cream white) is pretty clean. that's all.
I think the team I would identify as my primary rivalry right now is the Quebec City Citadelles, which is at least a little ironic given the history there. As much as it's obnoxious running into them in the playoffs and having to deal with them, they're otherwise one of the best groups of people on the site.
One nice thing about Quebec City? They employ Cristoforo Roccamontepiano, which as an Italian myself, is the most fun name I get to say around here
San Francisco has a lot of cool people on their roster, I guess. I just think they are inconsiderate when they win championship after championship and waste my prime years but it's fine I guess.
I am not convinced my player has an individual rival nor does he have one team that stands out above any others. Maybe Latvia from the old UCORCAL split? On the subject of SHL id have to go with Troy McClure IIII as someone Marek could have a friendly rivalry with, as a rival from the wolfpack but international teammate. His beard is pretty nice, i guess. Probably it is warm in the winter.
The Atlanta Inferno have had their playoff battles with my team, Philadelphia, in recent seasons. It's been back and forth between who wins. But they seem cool there, so I suppose lets keep at it!
One happy thing we noticed in Quebec as we tried to film a variety of promotional videos during last season's playoffs is that Raptor eyeballs make the most delightful squeaky sounds sounds when squeezed in the talons of a baby owl. So, thank you, Raptors.
Giving a shout out to my old team Vancouver for making good moves for themselves and the players, really appreciated them asking my opinion of getting traded. But now we the Quebec are coming for you. Citadelles Citadelles Citadelles
Despite the hate between the two teams, I have to give it to the Los Angeles Panthers. They have been one of the best teams year in year out for the last 8 or so seasons. They have done an amazing job of keeping their roster competitive through amazing moves throughout the season over the last 12+ seasons.
