Uppercut is for GMing, not for coaching! For that award we look at off-season activity, value of trades, success in free agency, etc, not just on-ice performance.

This season specifically were 2 things I’m most proud about on the site
- Put all the SHL & SMJHL STHS info into the index. All standings, stats and playoff info. Atleast it got published this season
- Cards Site 2.0 : 96% of everything the non cards makers see I made (except for some portions of the trade area and the admin side shoutout to Cal)

And when said transactions result in the franchise moving backwards overall why does the award committee not factor that in? Tampa had proven success from building a team over time with this season being a peak season as a result of transactions over time. San Francisco made multiple moves to acquire talent in order to repeat and doesn't get a nomination over LAP either?
