I was chosen by the team to be the spokeperson and make the annoucement of our captain and alternate captains for S7.
Last year, Roberto Martucci was the captain while Michael Astorino and Ronan O'keefe were named alternates. Martucci had to step down from his role when he became co-gm of the Steelhwaks. O'keefe was traded to the Nightmare making another empty spot to fill.
Raymond Lindsay, Hamilton Steelhawks general manager, decided to ask for his team to choose for the next candidates. The results are now in and it's time to unveil them !
Last thing I want to say is that the choices were unanimous (except for one rookie that absolutely had no clue who to vote for).
Sooooo let's begin !!
Without surprise the first alternate captain for a 2nd season in a row is.....

Michael Astorino
Michael is a great guy to have in your locker room. He is the kind of guy that like to joke around with everyone and to involve everyone. He is friend with everybody and everybody likes him. Great choice !

Audun Wissink
Audun has more a calm and poised personnality. He will defend his teammates and step up for them when they are in trouble. He is always available when you need an advice.

"I want to thank all of my teammates for their incredible vote of confidence and thank the organization for this huge opportunity for me at this stage of my young career.
I'm very happy to have my two friends Asto and Wissink at my side and I'll do my best to make every Steelhawk feel like they are a part of our huge family.
