Brand New! Try completing your first point task to earn some points towards your player while learning how to train! Located Here!

One of the biggest issues our new players face when they first join, is figuring out how to do training. In reality, it’s quite simple, but at first it can seem very overwhelming. This is a brief description of how training works. It will seem like a lot of work, but it really is very easy, and you’ll be able to figure it out in no time.

So you’ve made your player and you want to start hyping him up. In order to do that, you go to the SMJHL Media Section (CLICK HERE) and write up an article. Not only will this get your name out there, but you will earn money for it! So, how do you get this money? It’s fairly simple. One of our Bank Updaters will grade your article and deposit money in your Bank Account! CLICK HERE to see where these deposits are done. That means that you don't have to do any work to have that money deposited, it's going to be done for you! It won't happen right away, so please be patient, as it is done regularly.

Note: We have a great Skydrive file with up-to-date bank accounts! CLICK HERE to access it, and navigate to the SMJHL Section on the bottom to see your account. Please note that if no money has ever been deposited to you, you will not have an account.

So now you have some money to spend, and you want to do some training to improve your player. You have a few options as an SMJHL player! CLICK HERE to see a list of the things you can buy for training! You can either buy some equipment (only one of each type of gear), OR you can do a weekly Personal Workout (which you can see at the bottom of that page). After you decide which bit of training you want to spend your money on, post in THIS THREAD and mention which training you are purchasing, and the amount of money it costs.

The final step here is to link the post you made in that thread to your Player Updates thread. If you are not on a team, you can make an Updates thread HERE, or if you have been signed or drafted to a team, you can make one in your team’s section. Your update posts should include a link to your purchase, and which attributes you are updating.

That’s about it! As I said, this can seem incredibly overwhelming, but it is very easy to do. It might look like there are a lot of steps, but once you get the hang of it you will be able to update in a matter of seconds!

There are other ways to train your player as well, which you don't have to use money on, such as Team Training Camp. This should be explained to you by your General Manager once you have signed with a team.

As always, if you have any questions, feel free to ask!
