Laflamme announcing his declaration for the S7 NWJHL Entry Draft at a press conference.

Blake Laflamme is a winger who can play either side who has declared for the season seven North West Junior Hockey League entry draft. During his bantam career, Laflamme played 68 goals where he notched 52 goals and 12 assists for 64 points with a +29 rating, 315 penalty minutes, 243 hits, and 31 blocked shots.

CK = Checking: 75
FG = Fighting: 50
DI = Discipline: 62
SK = Skating: 70

This youngster from Winnipeg already knows how to throw bone-crunching checks and skates very well for a kid his age just coming into the junior ranks but has been known to lose his temper and take stupid penalties including fighting majors although he does not fare well in the fisticuffs department.

ST = Strength: 75
EN = Endurance: 70
DU = Durability: 60
PH = Puck Handling: 68 (Max. 80)

Blake is a sloppy puck handler which can cause him to turn the puck more than he would like and has been known to get injured every now and then. He has the ability to play big minutes at the junior level and is strong on the puck and in the dirty areas of the ice even though he is not all that big.

Laflamme wins a puck battle and gets a scoring chance.

FO = Face Offs: 50
PA = Passing: 50 (Max. 80)
SC = Scoring: 80(Max. 80)
DF = Defense: 57
PS = Penalty Shot: 50

Laflamme is awful in the face-off dot as well as in shootout situations and can be a liability when playing without the puck or in the defensive zone. His passes are often off target and get picked off more often than not but he already has high-end scoring talent with the ability to score night in and night out.

Blake Laflamme has some holes in his game that need serious addressing but what player just getting his feet wet in juniors doesn't. He will be a very solid pick-up for the team that selects him and I have him pencilled in for being selected near mid-draft.
