Yes, I'm only doing this because McGuire reminded me that I still had the account. Nevertheless, there are some great rumors flying around at the moment!
- The :kings: announcement tonight will indeed be big and it won't be the last one, expect further news out of Las Vegas within the next week or two.
- On an unrelated note, has shown a lot of interest in bringing back former Dragon Christoph Klose in the off-season. Thomas Duddy is on their list as well, although it looks unlikely at the moment a big package deal that sends the two friends to Calgary for a selection of draft picks and young players is not out of the question.
- Even though -forward Lucas Smith has announced that he will not exercise his player option, talk around the league is that he will still be a Blizzard next season and will sign an extension at some point in the Off-Season.
- There has been a lot of trade-talks surrounding the top-picks in the upcoming draft. The have received multiple offers for the 1st Overall already but so far aren't satisfied with any of them. With multiple teams willing to move up or looking to trade into the first round using established players, we could see a lot of movement until draft day.
- With franchise legend John McBride retiring and multiple players considering leaving the team via Free Agency, the are currently having some internal discussions about their course for the next few season and could enter at least a small rebuild soon that sees them keep the majority of their roster, but sacrifice a couple of experienced players to stock up on draft-picks.
