And the next edition, there really seems to be a lot going on at the moment! And for the first time ever I can even write about myself, but I will get to that later.
- The
have traded Teemu Nurmi back to his former team, the 
, for a 2nd round draft pick. Nurmis contract situation still needs to be clarified though, so it isn't exactly clear if the Blizzard have acquired his services for next season, or just the right to talk to him.

is preparing to make a big splash in free agency, trading Alex Smirnov away can basically bes considere to be the first step of their FA-efforts!
- The
seem to be open to trade the negotiation rights for almost all of their upcoming free agents, as they seem to have lost all hope that they can re-sign any of them.
- The tampering rumors posted by my friend Ryan Rishaug actually had some proof to them, but it was indeed very much a grey area case and it was understandable that the GM got off with a warning. A player of the
was involved by the way.
- My friend PJ Stock has also provided me with some rumors but since they are his work I would feel bad taking the credit for them, I hope he publishes them himself and I recommend that you take a look at the newest edition of his rumors!
- And last but not least, the league is actually preparing to crack the whip on certain members of the GM staff as well as some of the rumor writers! Apparently the league is unhappy that actual rumors are being leaked to the press and would prefer if the rumor writers just recited who was put on the trade block but don't write about much else. Especially the recent rumors and articles by Ryan Rishaug and myself seem to have angered some members of the head office, as it looks like we knew some stuff that we weren't supposed to know...
I hope this is just a short-lived hysteria and the league comes back to its senses soon and just lets us rumor writers do our work. I hope I don't come over as arrogant if I say that I think we are providing a service that many members of the league enjoy very much, and that is an interesting read to a lot of people around here! Also, I don't think that what we are doing is hurting anyone.
