Sabres media is reporting that Buffalo will not re-sign G Ryan Miller and he will be traded at their first opportunity. However Miller, who has a limited No-Trade Clause, wants to go to a contender and will not accept a trade to a Canadian team.

Mason's playing pretty good, no reason to trade for underperforming Miller... Then again it is Philly so I wouldn't doubt it.

Washington would make sense, although Holtby has been pretty damn good thus far too.
Edmonton is the team that would love him but he won't go there and I wouldn't necessarily say Miller is underperforming, the team in front of him is downright terrible.

Not a whole ton of teams that need a number one right now besides Calgary, Edmonton, and Philly.
Seems like a pretty weak Rumor imho.

It's no secret that the Sabres are trying to trade him. But if he ends the season here but doesn't get re-signed it will be because of him not wanting to, not because the Sabres wouldn't want to keep him.
Also, how the hell is Miller underperforming? He is playing behind the worst team in the NHL that is outshot by a wide margin in every single game, yet manages to still lose most of them by only one goal, and Miller/Enroth deserve most of the credit for that. If that is Miller "underperforming", a Miller at his best should make you drool Wink

He said contender.

Tampa would be a scary team with Miller in the paint.
