This looks friggan awesome. Pretty much the equivalent of EA Season Ticket last generation except only for Xbox One.

Only $30 a year

Get access to Battlefield 4, Madden 25, Fifa 14, Peggle 2 for free (Plus they'll be updating the "Vault" regularly with free games

Get 10% off all EA Sports games so NHL, Madden, Fifa, and all add ons

And the best part, gain access to the games 5 days before they are released.
Does Microsoft pay all of these companies for exclusive rights to things? Or early releases like map packs on COD

PS4 should be getting the EA Access as well.... Since it's the superior system.

Yes they do pay. PS4 is the superior system but it will only go as far as Sony pays and they're having a hard time breaking even right now. Microsoft has thrown money down for games and it appears to be working.

EA Access is only on XOne right now so they've either bought exclusivity all together or it's a timed exclusivity which would mean it will be available on PS4 next year.

How are they having trouble breaking even if they are selling more consoles than MS.
NHL is so close..

They lost like 1.8 Billion due to launch costs, advertising, and manufacturing.

http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2014...-full-year-loss, Microsoft has the advantage of having Windows and things like that to fall back on. Sony doesn't have that anymore, as well as the major hit they're going to take due to their security breach that they're ordered to pay like 50m out on to those effected (I guess we're (People who owned a PS3 and Playstation Plus at the time of the attack) are getting 3 months of playstation plus or a couple of games to compensate.

Yup! I'm pretty excited about getting this tbh, NHL on September 4th is something that sounds amazing to me :D
Never realized that they lost that much....

Haha MS gonna win this gen again probably, even though PS4 is the all around better system. I've also notice more people buying XB1s of late as well.

Naw, Sony will win in the end just like they did last gen. Microsoft will fizzle and their games will be like last gen. Sony has the better system, Microsoft has the better business.

Microsoft is selling more systems because they stopped bundling with Kinect, they doubled sales in the month following the drop of Kinect. I'm willing to bet big time that within 3-4 years Sony will be the one with all the big games, Microsoft will have COD map packs, Halo rehashes, Forza and Gears of War same way they did at the end of last generation.

Omg this is awesome, thanks for sharing

Now I get a solid 5 days of chel without any distractions before Destiny comes out
Do I take off work on the actual release day, or the ea release day... hm...
The early access better include HUT, I don't think it did in previous years
So basically instead of requiring you to buy the games brand new, the access code crap that used to have, they came up with this. I don't really don't know if I'd buy this. I could spend that $5 a month on something else bundle related or even a membership for an mmo that I like. EA has been disappointing me lately.
