Not a big deal, but seems to be some confusion on this. I think that SHL Post Game Shows should be for SHL players only. There's only 7 of them per week and it's hard enough to get one as it is.

With the majority of the juniors taking the Pbp's and having priority down there, it's hard for an SHL player to get one of those and keep it, which is fine. The activity by the juniors is great and I love seeing it, but Juniors players should not be able to take SHL Post Game Shows away from SHL players.

This needs to be stated in the OP of the claims each week so there's not any further confusion.

If for some reason this is not already a rule (which I believe it is) it needs to be stated somewhere. With all the super active juniors this season, the SHL guys need something that's just for them imo.

Thanks Smile
I think it should be the same way it is with SMJHL. An SMJHL player should be able to take an open spot, but if an SHLer wants it, they can take it from the SMJHL player. Just a thought, otherwise maybe the SHL players shouldn't be able to do PbP's. I just think they should have the same rules.
We could also make the PGS claim by day # and not the actual day of the week. This will make it so more people can do them
Yeah basically I'm trying to say SHL players should get priority on SHL PG's just like Juniors get priority on SMJHL's Pbp's. Even if the SHL player has already done a PG that season, he cannot get bumped by a 1st time Junior player. Only a 1st time SHL player.
I actually talked to Anchorage yesterday and we agreed that SHL PGS's will run like the SMJHL PbP's. SHLers will get priority claims over SMJHLers.

I talked to park about making Post Game Shows run on a sim day basis, most likely this will begin next year with less of a payout & word requirement due to the lower number of games per sim day.

Cheers
Damn forums ate my longer reply, lol.

I support this, currently juniors are sniping (or have the ability too) PGS from SHLers. The rule for being able to replace people who have already done one is a good rule, but when Juniors are double dipping, it's really frustrating to SHLers trying to gain some extra TPE.

I don't know if your talking about me, but I took one from Nike, an smjhler, who had already done one. Its also frustrating when an shler takes my 2nd pbp.

There's always SMJHL PbP's Wink

I understand the frustration, but it isn't like that many even got stolen. Nike, JNH, and DJ are the only rookies who even got one. Nike and JNH kind of snuck by as recreates so nobody questioned them, and DJ got a last minute one when somebody bowed out. This week, juniors found out they had the ability to take them so they tried, because they are just as TPE hungry as you guys, but most were quickly sniped down by this rule that seemed to have already been in place. It just wasn't very open/common knowledge. If SHLers have the chance to take PbPs, SMJHLers should have a chance for a PGS.

SHLers don't have a chance to take PbPs really, Juniors are given preference. If I try to snag a Junior game, it's taken from me the moment a Junior wants it. Right now, a Ace (recreate, still in Juniors I think) has taken possession of the day I signed up for and I really have no recourse because the wishy washy rules say that because I have done it once before, it can be taken from me by anyone.

Personally, I'd go even further with the rules. Simply make it so there is absolutely no cross over. No SHLers in Junior PbPs, no Juniors in SHL PGS. Both have a line up for people and the cross over creates conflict.

The rule is if you've done one already it can be taken by a 1st time SHL player. Not an SMHJL player.

Ace taking yours is a grey area because he's a current junior player who's been drafted by the SHL, but I think that makes it legal since he technically can do the SHL Player Progressions, etc. So he's considered an SHL'er.

The rule needs to be clearly stated somewhere, I think JNH clarified it in his above post, but should be posted in the OP of each week's claim going forward.

I understand the frustration, but you've still got one before one gets sniped from you. If a Junior takes a PGS, thats it. Theres no second one for them to do for extra TPE. The current setup has an extremely limited number of slots and those fill up very quickly.

I think the rule states that SHLers get preference no matter what. Even if they already have done one. I also still like cross over, because if there aren't 7 SHLers every week, us juniors want a chance for 3 TPE. We just need to be more clear about the rules.

There are more then enough SHLers though, the cross over just adds an extra element of confusion, for example I've been out in the cold for three weeks now because of the demand (and that's all good for the most part). Personally I don't try for Junior games because as far as I'm concerned, that is for them to help develop and taking that opportunity is wrong, just like how I view hindering of current SHLers TPE gain is wrong by allowing cross over.

Anyways, I completely agree. A clarification of the rules is absolutely needed.
Need one of the people (dp/coolstar) who actually run the SHL to come in and lay down a ruling
