First off, we need to pick up another 2nd/3rd line winger, so we can finally get some depth at scoring.

I keep forgetting that we have Kane because he didn't play at all last year. As much as I like Stafford and Myers (had both their jerseys) I really don't see a gap that they've left. It's been filled by our younger guys very well.

I'm good with whoever we get at 2. Eichel is a pure athlete. He bested McDavid in almost every combine category, and he's just a beast.

If EDM sees that and takes him, I'll be happy with McDavid because he's got so much raw hockey talent.


Draft 2, sign a good winger, pick up a decent tie-over starting goalie, and we'll be off to a good start.

i have to work during draft night.. so sad. i wanna see what happens with 21 & any trades !! :(

Daniel Sprong, Jeremy Bracco, who do we take at 21?

@ 21 i secretly hope they take Samsonov. But others, I would hope a Defenseman like Zboril,Chabot,kylington (or a Good FWD that falls not Bracco or Sprong tho - Like Meier, or The Russian FWD Guy)

I think it has to be 2 of those 3 options, A or B, and definitely C for now. If we draft Samsonov, and depending age of goalie they trade for you're still not going to have an answer for a couple years.

I'm likely going downtown for the draft party, any fellow SHLers going?

Haven't decided yet. I didn't go last year, not sure if I want to go this year either.
