As I stated last season, I am not one to change captains on a season to season basis. When we have a captain and a leader, he has been chosen carefully and it becomes "His team", and his era to carry it forward.

Liam Kinsler is the captain of this team. He has earned it and has been a wonderful member of this team since he has joined and will continue to be the true captain of this team until the day he retires.

Last season, Daigle was given the captaincy in his honorable last season as a Renegade. This season, the captaincy will return to Liam.

We have so many amazing members that constantly help me out and do things around the site that I really have such a hard time deciding on who to pick, but alas I have to pick 3 members. In reality, we have a locker room full of leaders, and we're so lucky to have such distinctions.

So without further ado, your Assistants and Captains this season are:

Hey! I got his name right

Smitty is one of the most vocal leaders we've had in the Renegades LR since my team here and I love his willingness to win and do what it takes for the team. He's a true Renegade since the day we drafted him and I can't imagine the team without him.

He is a very approachable and warm personality which allows most of the new guys to be able to ask him for advice and help on things. I know I personally count on him a lot to get things done and he's always pulled through for me.

Not to mention all the heart attacks he gives me on a regular basis

Vliddy is one of those guys that every GM just loves to have. There isn't a single day that i'm on Chatzy that he isn't storming up ideas for media articles, helping me with draft scouting, ensuring everybody claims points and gets their point tasks done, etc. etc.

Vliddy is one of the older guys on the team and he's done a fantastic job mentoring the new players. He's been a rock back there on D and is going to be huge in Wollker's development growing up.

We love ya Vlid, congratulations.

Kinsler is the captain of this team and will remain the captain until the day he retires. Having yet another solid season in the Renegade uniform, Kinsler is emerging as one of the greatest not only Renegades to have ever played, but players in the SHL.

His chemistry with Chara Brojled is exactly what we expected it to be and more, and he's been a solid influence in the faceoff circle as well. He's a leader on and off the ice and the backbone of our franchise. He is the glue that keeps the team together and the Renegades just wouldn't be able to compete without him.
