!!!SERIOUS ARTICLE ALERT!!!!
Portland, OR - Earlier today Portland general manager Zach Miller called the entire team of the Portland Admirals to the Moda Center for a special announcement. Once they'd both turned up he made the announcement that for his "services to the franchise", Miller was going to retire the number and jersey of Portland superstar and household name Sven Karlsson. Miller became very tearful during the ceremony but revealed that he was struggling to continue on without Karlsson's input both on and off the ice, and made a good nautical pun about the team being "rudderless".
Miller released the following statement:
"It hurt to give up my protege the way I did and I don't know how this team can carry on without him. There's no light at the end of the tunnel without him."
