We got to meet with his line-mate Joe McKeil. Joe is also a rookie and will be expected to play a center role with Balotelli and sophomore Wagner. McKeil has been one of the brightest gems in the the NWJHL last season, and as a result was picked early in the first round by the Steelhawks. The rookie centerman’s season will greatly depend on his linemates though, we feel he will manage around the 20 point mark.
What are your thoughts on your team this season?
I think we have got a pretty good team. I love our chemistry in the locker room and the overall activity. We have many great guys and an awesome girl

What are your hopes and expectations for your team this year?
First of all to win the first game of the season and then win the next one ... and finally we should have to win the last game of the season.
But jokes aside, our first goal should be to maek the playoffs.
Where do you think your team is strongest?
Where do you think your team is weakest?
We have great depth and I don´t see any weakenings in our lineup, maybe we don´t have that many superstars then other teams, but our depth is great.
How do you feel about the line you're playing on?
Looks like I am starting the season as a 3rd line center between Mario Balotelli and Anton Wagner, two young dynamic player which are drafted very early in S7/S8. I guess we should form one of the better 3rd lines of the league.
What do you think your role on the team is?
Actually I will play as 3rd Line Center, but I will move up to the 2nd Line in the midseason. I will have an offensive minded role and have to help our team to produce.
What is the best part of your game?
I am a setup man, I love to make plays.
Where do you need the most improvement?
My defensive game have to be better, along with my physical game.
This coming offseason, what will you be working on the most?
I worked a lot in the skating department, we had a sepial fitness coach for that, I guess it worked
Do you have any goals for yourself?
I want to be a part of the team, thats all for the moment.
Can you give me a prediction of who will win the cup this year other then your team?
I guess the Minnesota Chiefs.
If you were to compare yourself to an NHL player, who would you choose and why?
Joe Thornton, he can read a game and can make awesome setups in every situation.

Tough question. Mayb the St.Louis Blues, both have a young talented team with much upside.

How do you feel about the Jets and their cup run?
They deserved it, they played awesome playoffs and we all should admit that.
How good are their chances to repeat?
Of course you should name them when you talk about cup contenders, but the league is pretty deep and there are many teams that can make it.
Hawks cinderella run, proof that they are for real, or hot at the right time and why?
The Hawks have pretty good depth and much talent, mayb they won´t win this season, but I am sure they will do it within the next few years. They have great management, so you can count on the Hawks
Do you think the Calgary Dragons are better off with XDparK as GM and why?
Park and Nathan are both great guys that I like much. Maybe Park has a lil bit enthusiasm and can bring the cup to Calgary.
The Manhattan Rage lost some big pieces, how good or bad do you think they will be and why?
They lost some Impact players so it looks like it will be tough to make the playoffs this year.
Minnesotta Chiefs went from finalists to missing the playoffs, what do you think are the major reasons, and which Chiefs team will show up this year?
IN my opinion the Chiefs had just bad luck last season, they have a great team and will bounce back for sure this season.
The LA Panthers lost some veterans, can they get back to their power house form, or are they near a re-build already and why?
The team is just too old, maybe they can make a last shot, but a rebuild have to come soon.
Will the Edmonton Comets finally get out of the basement and why?
They should be at the end of the rebuild now, they have a ton of great young player. But I guess they need one more season to be a great team.
The West Kendall Platoon have had a transition season, and look completly different from two years ago. What do you think of the GMs' job, and how will they fair this season?
WKP added some good players in the offseason, the Management overpayt them maybe a bit, but the Platoon should be in the mix for the playoffs.
