Another 115 sims done, and here we are at roughly the 2/3 mark in the season. With some real stand outs so far, and some teams just simply not getting many nods (Look at Hamilton games, seriously, even games they win Hamilton is only earning on average 2 points!Wink. With that, lets have a look how we stand with another set of games under our belts

Even after the first update we have had some pretty intense movement across the board for teams. Some real stand out are the big climbers and fallers. West Kendall has made a huge jump this block with the 2nd most 3 Star points earned (77) vaulting them into the top 3 and within striking distance of the 2 spot just behind Edmonton who has fallen out of the 1st place spot with the biggest gainer this week in the Los Angeles Panthers (81) who have also created a small gap between those just behind them. Next we have some nice gains posts by Seattle sneaking into the 4 slot with the 3rd highest gain this update (76) to maybe the surprise of a few.

Rounding out the top 5 is New England who despite a weaker update (57) manages to hang onto that #5 spot for now. Other winners this update include Minnesota at #6 with a respectable gain (64), Calgary moved up into the top ten, and a bit of movement near the bottom with Toronto and Winnipeg climbing the ladder a bit.

Now to have a look at the loser this week. We have Buffalo the biggest loser dropping 5 spots down to the #8 spot with one of the lower totals for gains this week (45). Next up is Manhattan losing 4 spots themselves and barely clinging onto a top 10 spot with a slightly better week than buffalo but with other teams surging just can't hold onto that #6 spot dropping down to 10. Lastly is Hamilton completely dropping the ball and any chance of competing for a top end spot only managing a meager 29 points dropping them down to the 13th spot and seemingly giving a portland a chance to maybe climb up out of the basement.

[b]With more stats to draw from the top 10 is now a top 20. We still saw a bunch of movement for players with this update as we had 10 new additions and the original 10 all kept a place on the chart, although we did have a top 10 player dethroned down to the 11-20 bracket.

The big winners this time around are...

Kristian Eriksson comes storming onto the scene from now even being on the 1st list to nab a top 5 spot on the chart with a solid gain of 17 points this update. Toronto seems to be relying heavily on 3 of its players game in and game out as evident with Damien Wert (24) and Chester Cunningham (22) being really it's only respresentatives of note currently. 3 players in the current top 12 although the team is struggling? That's pretty solid. Should at least instill some confidence in the core being solid to still have night in and night out.

Kappo Kekkonen destryoed the competition this week with a whopping +30 gain this week to take sole control of the 1st spot vaulting 5 spots. LAP has had a lot to like this season with their performances but Kekkonen seems to have taken the reigns mid season to help drive the bus for this team success. Much like Toronto, they sport 3 players in the top 20, with Timo Haas (23) and Ryan King (20) as well. Haas has had a stellar season with the team infront of him, but hasn't really been stealing many games on his own (He hasn't had to) and due to this is our first victim of a free fall dropping from the 4 slot down to the 11.

Lastly we have Edmonton Goalie Brett Broadway, making a similar leap to Kekkonens gaining 5 spots in the standings and locking up with Lord Pretty Flacko (MIN) in a tie for the #3 spot with a solid 31 points (19 gained). Broadway is helping to lead his team to another successful year posting some rather great numbers that at his current pace might just challenge Timo Haas for the Goal tending title.

The Losers for this week are......

Having already talked about the free fall of Haas we can move to a few of the other 'Losers' this week for the standing (Not calling you folks Losers I swear!Wink
Mikke Lukkanen just couldn't keep pace with some of the big gainers this update and has fallen out of the top 5. Not to feel bad about a really good performance (+13 this update) but just not enough to contend with those who were already close and were able to sneak by him.

Zallerras Szlerchek stumbled hard this update gaining the least of anyone in the top 20 (only a sad +2) so he has started to tumble. Holding the #1 spot last update, he now sits down in the #7 slot tied 3 ways with Casey Holmes (BUF) and VLAD McZehrl (MAN). With Scholz and Broadway gaining ground from Edmonton, maybe his hot streak has come to an end as other teammates pick up the star nods.

Damien Wert didn't fall much this week, only losing 2 spots total, but he kept pace with most areound him. I expect him to keep around the top 10 as we hit the final update, just with those others having stand out performances it was hard to keep up as the standing expanded.
