I will most likely be retiring Ben Waters, depending on steelhawks' needs, at some point between the s35 offseason and the s36 trade deadline. I might go back on this decision, as it is kind of out of the blue, but I doubt it because I feel disappointed with the state of my player compared to the other players that spawned from the s31 draft class. I've even been passed by some s32 draft class members. When I made my account and started this journey, my goal was to be the best, and I've decided that it's not possible with my current player. I also feel like building a goalie lacks creativity and is genuinely boring, so I will be recreating, most likely as a forward, and with the summer and a more casual school schedule coming up next year, I will be able to evaluate my ability to build a player much more objectively than with Waters. Here's to Icky Sambal (or whatever his name will be) becoming a legend.
And to everyone who is currently or has been in the steelhawks organization during my tenure, I thank you so much for the great time you have given me as a steelhawks member. I apologize for this, I know it kind of puts you in the lurch, but as a mentor, I know that with the number of goalies Hamilton has in the pipeline and the number of great goalies that are available in the upcoming SHL draft, we will be able to bounce back.
