Simulation Hockey League

To whom this may concern,

I ask the powers that be to consider a modification to the 40 capped TPE limit per season. My proposal is that anything after the 40th capped TPE be coverted into SHL money.

1 TPE = 250K

Under the current rule you lose the unused TPE, and that's a bit disheartning for those who lose out for being active and doing all their tasks. While its understandable that theres a set amount of TPE to give out.. we should always encourage and reward those that want to contrtibute.

Ive spoken with some in discord on this topic and it's an idea that has been positively received.

Cant say i agree with that idea, were talking about 250K for each TPE over 40... at most were talking about is 5-7 points which is a couple of million dollars. Seems like a very reasonable reward for real on site activity.

I like it, even if the reward was smaller, like 100k per TPE over the 40 PT cap, it's better to reward the hard work than to negate it completely.

No. We capped it for a reason.

My counter argument would be that to do this you would need to get rid of milestones, because milestones put everyone way over the cap.

What was the point of making a new update scale if we're just going to ignore TPE inflation ever being a thing in this league? Lmao. Some people are like TPE inflation what's that? That never happened.

We also just upped the cap.

Note: Just to clarify... this proposal isn't talking about raising the TPE cap limit.... its talking about converting any TPE you earn after the 40th capped TPE to money.

Hi Eggy,

As a statistical example: if you have done every task possible your projected to lose anywhere from 5-10 TPE to the cap... if we assign 250K to every 1 TPE over the cap then we're talking small rewards fior the 15-20% of the members that elect to continue contributing to the site.....

Write another media instead of those extra tpe, would be more of a contribution to the site + moneh

So the max you would be making is 2.5M by going 10 over the cap. What's the harm in that...I probably wouldn't do it all but, 1M-2M every other season would help.

Hey Izzy, I love the idea. It makes sure that the work you do isn't completely written off and you get a solid reward for it.

It would still be capped TPE, the few TPE that would go over the cap would be turned into money. 250k could be a bit much as the math has 4 uncapped TPE turning into 5 TPE for training, but something like 100k doesn't sound too harmful
