Kaner's getting old and looking at his options
After spending the majority of his career in Edmonton where he was drafted and won a Cup and a couple of trophies, Kane found himself pleasantly surprised with how much he enjoyed his two seasons in Seattle. With father time sneaking up on him and taking it's toll this may be his last chance at being a big name free agent. Currently he's looking at playing for 2 to 3 more seasons before evaluating retirement and there aren't any teams that are off his list of possible destinations. He's looking either for a cup contender where he can play a top 6 role or a team that can offer him a good opportunity to get back to being a point per game player or better.
