Elias Lindstorm has hit the temporary market once again for the 2nd straight season. Opting out of his contract via "player option", the young, Swedish winger has elected to once again test free agency and see what he can gather for attention out there. While expressing that his intentions are more just to see what's out there as opposed to leaving Toronto, he also says there is the possibility that if the offer is right and the team is attractive to him - he can always end up calling another place home. Currently, there's 2 teams who have expressed interest in the winger - one being, of course, the North Stars and the other being the same team who expressed last year, the Edmonton Blizzard.

Toronto is interesting. I think Symm will do a lot of good for the organization despite the shitty retirements and a couple players or whatever going to free agency. He's got a good head on his shoulders and seems to be a pretty decent GM. Despite the LR being absolute shit, I hear it's a common thing these days, but the discord is usually pretty active.

The offer is good - it's what I want and there's always that "Hey, they drafted me" so you have to be loyal to them feeling. Being drafted to Toronto ws a bit of a surprise. Never played here since joining the league back in S3 or 4, so it was a nice change of things. With Jakobsen, I always did my bets to play the loyalty card and I'd like to move away form that slightly. I'd like to still be loyal, but only to a sense. If it makes right, I stay. If not, who knows.

Up and coming - seemingly a little further ahead in the rebuild process than Toronto - though Toronto has some assets they can likely toss off to catch up. They seem o have blanked out a little bit in the development process - seems a couple of players have died off, shit the bed and disappeared. Not too attractive in those terms. They do hold one of the 2 top picks this draft so hopefully they add a top asset there - I'll be watching. Prospect pool seems empty. Word of advice? Sell your old fucks and get the younger guys going. No point holding onto them oldies unless you're blessing them with a hometown retirement.

Money? they're offering what I'd need/want to stay with a rebuilding team and to help me not write an article every week or day. I'm in a couple leagues - GMing in 2 of them (VHL and GOMHL) and have to write and do all my shit in each. I'm a busy guy.

Lastly on them, Ace and I battled back in the day for 1st overall. Believe it was S4 and his player may have been Chisling?? Please say I'm wrong haha. Either way, nice history there and he brought it up via PM to kiss ass a little bit. Wink

The odds are close, but I'd say are slightly in favour for Toronto at this moment. Their youth movement and process is a little bit of a plus, but the hometown "we drafted you" thing is always a pain in my ass to break away from. 60/40 for Toronto. Ninja

How satisfied are you with your career so far?
Quote:It may be a little different. It seemed as though when I started with Jakobsen, newer members and players had the possibility of getting 30-50 points if they played on the right team, line etc. With Jkoabsen though, I wasn't hot at the start and actually started off slow. With Lindstrom it's actually a lot like Jakobsen. I started off slow (really slow), and then turned on the lights the next season a little more. It was a continuous climb and fingers crossed it's like that with this player.

What are your thought about losing game seven in the Champion Cup Final?
Quote:Man, it was shit. Being up in a series like that and losing out is never a good feeling. You could feel the excitement of winning a cup and watching it slowly disappear. I've been off and on the site since Season 3 and never once won a cup - not even with Jakobsen. I got my first with Lindstrom when toronto briefly called me up. To be so close to my 2nd cup in a matter of seasons was exciting - but the loss was a bite for sure. Either way, I played strongly and had strong playoff run. In that aspect, I was very happy.

Would you have done anything differently?
Quote:Not much of anything I could of done. I've missed some training opportunities and am not the guy I used to be on here. While I was younger on here before and made my simple mistakes, I was a "try hard" too. I did everything and anything for some TPE. Now, it's not quite like that. I miss the odd thing and I guess at the end of the day, those are things I wish I would have done but between work and other leagues - you can only do what you feel happy on doing. I don't want to over kill it and then destroy the fun for the league for me.

How is the FA going for you? Would you recommend this experince to other players?
Quote:Less exciting with Lindstorm than Jakobsen. I feel like the past still bites me in the ass and some people's thoughts still overshadows lots which scares people away. If this is the case, it's absolutely silly as that was years ago but honestly, I feel it is. Some people share this persona still and shadow it over me. Either way, I have 2 amazing organizations to choose between right now so it'll be interesting.
