Yesterday the St. Louis scarecrows management announced their captains and assistants for the upcoming Season 43 campaign. General managers Joe and Ryan have been in the front office discussion team chemistry and tactics all morning prepping for the regular season. Amongst the conversation was young superstar Aleister Cain, drafted 87th OA in the S42 SMJHL entry draft or as some like to say Last overall. He has been touted as the steal of the century and one of the most underrated goalies in the league. Edmonton quickly realized this as they snapped up the young tender at 47 OA in the S43 SHL entry Draft.
Cain has grown tremendously and has been quite the force in the Locker room always generating conversations, helping rookies and promoting growth through positive activity.
All this being said we would like to announce a third Alternate Captain for this season, we feel this individual has truly earned this letter and know he will wear it with Pride.
