Hey guys. I feel horrible begging for money like this, but here's the story. My grandparents travel down to Florida from here in Nova Scotia every winter. 2 days ago my grandfather suffered a stroke and has since fallen into a coma. After some back and forth, weve found out his insurance doesnt cover this, and now the hospital is asking for a 5000 deposit plus whatever other expense are incurred as he is in there. Coming from here, the whole paying for healthcare business is a new experience and we had no idea the cost of it.

Really appreciate all the support, unfortunately after a battle with an infection my grandfather passed away at 430 our time today. The support from complete strangers was overwhelming and I thank each and every one of you .
