Player Name: Maxime Bouchard
1. Early Life
Maxime was born in Almonte, Ontario. Given his birthplace, he was interested in basketball in his youth alongside hockey but eventually decided to give it up in favour of more ice time. Maxime is the only child of Felix and Rosalie Bouchard, who originate from Quebec City but moved to the Ottawa valley to pursue a life of tavern living on the river. They run one of the oldest establishments in Almonte, and Maxime spent much of his youth running around the pub, stealing sips of beer and trying not to get caught.

2. Playing Career
Maxime started his minor career with the Almonte Pakenham Thunder, before moving up to the juniors and playing for Ottawa Sharpshooters. He was then drafted to the SMJHL by the Anchorage Armada. After the end of his first year he was drafted to the SHL by the Calgary Dragons and sent back down to Anchorage to continue his development. Maxime spent another 2 years with the Armada, before finally being called up to the SHL. He is currently playing his rookie season with them.

3. International Play
Maxime has represented Team Canada at 3 World Junior Championships, winning silver and bronze medals in his second and third tournaments respectively. He hopes to represent Team Canada in the IIHF sometime in the near future.

4. Personal Life
Maxime has kept a reasonably private personal life, but his love of heavy music is well known. He is quite often seen going to metal shows in Calgary, and is frequently scolded by the team doctor for giving himself minor whiplash from headbanging too much. His favourite colour combination is red and green, which is evidenced by the way he tapes his stick. He says this also helps his teammates identify the blade easier.

5. Honours, Awards, Achievements
S45 WJC Bronze Medal
S46 WJC Silver Medal

6. Controversy
Maxime was involved in an incident with fellow Anchorage teammates @Tomasnz and @"bwrabbitt" when they were caught blowing up the garden gnomes of their GM @Acsolap with firecrackers. Luckily he decided not to press charges (because that would have been a really silly thing for him to do and hinder his own team), but he did put the boys through a series of rigorous exercises at the next morning skate.

Player Name: Adam Falk
2. Playing Career

Adam Falk began his playing career like any other SHL hopeful, this particular one reigning from Norway. He was drafted into the SMJHL during Season 24 as a 2nd round choice for the Montreal Impact (since rebranded as the Montreal Militia). He went on to become one of the Montreal great's, sweeping the SMJHL MVP awards in Season 25 after being drafted to the Toronto North Stars of the SHL. Once in the SHL, Falk grew into a great two-way winger producing steadily at a pace of around 35-40 points per season. He was traded later in his career to the West Kendall Platoon, spending only two seasons there before getting traded once more to the Texas Renegades. Here he found his true groove, playing several season in the silver & black on their top offensive unit. Falk was the missing piece to the puzzle, as the Renegades went on to win their first Challenge Cup in decades in Season 36. Falk retired immediately afterwards, having played 550 games in the SHL and amassing a total of 416 points.

Player Name:Tony Ford
2. Playing Career

Tony Ford was drafted into the SMJHL in the S46 SMJHL entry draft 6th overall by the Anchorage Armada, for whom he has played both of his seasons in the SMJHL so far. He failed to make a huge impression in his first season, although he was one of just 3 rookies to block 1 shot per game or more, and was clearly interesting enough to once again be taken 6th Overall in thee S47 SHL Entry draft by the West Kendall Platoon, who initially seemed excited to have him. Later on in S47, however, they decided that they should use Tony Ford to acquire Sophia Bennett, looking for a deep challenge cup run.  He was traded to the Los Angeles Panthers, though still playing at the time for the Anchorage Armada. He is currently on pace to just reach the top 5 players in shots blocked in the 50 game era of the SMJHL, halfway through his sophomore season, and is an early dark horse contender for best defenseman nominations.

1. Early Life

Reginald Rove was born in Knoxville, Tennessee to British parents, both yoga instructors and underground rappers. He has two brothers, Clifford and Sturgill. Both are professional athletes. His uncle, Ulysses, is a reanimated Civil War zombie and currently plays in the Professional Baseball Experience as well. As a child, Rove attended the Knoxville Performance Academy, designed to foster and sharpen talent in its students. While Reginald initially went for baseball, it was soon found out that he had a natural affinity for hockey, so he moved into their hockey program. Although naturally a right-hander, Rove was convinced to become ambidextrous and actually play hockey from his left side, so he did so. As a side effect he can now write with both of his hands fluidly. Rove was known to be a trouble maker, often pouring oil in the hallways or taking the screws out of chairs. This eventually got him kicked out of the Performance Academy, and Rove decided to drop out of high school and focus on his hockey career.

2. Playing Career
Rove was drafted 13th in the S39 SMJHL draft by the Detroit Falcons. Despite the strong work ethic, Rove slipped under the radar in the SHL draft, and was drafted 15th overall by the Manhattan Rage. He is currently ranked 7th in his draft class, so he was definitely a steal for the Rage, who have kept him on the roster his entire career.

2. Playing Career

James Truong was drafted in the 9th round of the SMJHL and 85th overall to the Montreal  Militia in S45. For his rookie season he struggled to produce for his team mustering only 4 goals and 4 assists through 50 regular season games. Also, throughout 6 playoff games he was only able to generate 1 goal and 1 assist.

James' sophomore season in S46 was a drastic improvement as he tripled his production by generating 14 goals and 9 assists for the regular season. In the playoffs was when he was able to take the next big step and be a consistent player for the  Militia as he was able to produce 4 goals and 9 assists in 12 playoff games.  S46 was also James' first time representing his country of  Canada  for the WJC. He produced 21 points in 27 round robin games, but hit a slump at the worst time in the medal round with 0 points in 3 games.

S47 is currently halfway over with the regular season and James has now come into his own as a consistent and well rounded player by maxing out his SMJHL TPE of 350. Only 28 games have been played and James has already matched his total point production of 23 for the previous season. James is going to continue producing and be relied upon as a key player for his team down the stretch and for the SMJHL playoffs. There is a some belief that this will be his final year down in the SMJHL with the  Militia as the Edmonton  Blizzard are liking what they see from their 4th round selection back in the S46 draft.

James Truong's playing career story is about to be a long and storied one as time goes on.

Player Name:
1. Early Life:

Martijn Westbroek was born in Holland, Netherlands to a working father and stay at home mother, neither with any background whatsoever in the world of hockey. Martijn's father fell asleep on the recliner one night and young Martijn ended up on the Dutch version of Sportscentre where he saw an old highlight of the S13 Manhattan Rage playing and immediately fell in love with the game of hockey. He idolized players like Nike Kickz and knew what he wanted to be in the future. Martijn took to the game quickly, but his career took a bump when his father was relocated to Japan when he was 8 for work-related reasons. Westbroek joined their traveling team among other young Japanese stars like Taro Tsujimoto and continued to hone his game on the ice. Knowing that he was destined for greater things, Martijn's parents allowed him to move to Canada at the age of 15 to play for the London Knights, an Ontario Hockey League team, where Westbroek quickly became a star while playing on a line with Robert Thomas and Cliff Pu. It was an unconventional path, but one that could make for a great story as Westbroek continues to make his way into the SHL.

Player Name: Nicolaj Muller
1. Early Life
Muller was born in Bern, Switzerland. He grew up down the road from the childhood home of Roman Yosi, an NHL player on the Nashville Predators. From a young age, Muller’s parents would take him to SC Bern hockey games and that is where he attributes his love for the sport.
2. Playing Career
Muller was a late-comer to the 46th season of the SMJHL, joining only a few days before the trade deadline. This didn’t stop him from being a dedicated and motivated player. In his 14 games in the first season of his SMJHL career he put up a total of 4 goals and went on to win the Four Star Cup with his team the St Louis Scarecrows. A few days after winning, he went on to be drafted to the Buffalo Stampede with their 22nd pick in the S47 SHL Entry Draft. He has a total of 25 points and is tied for the league lead in most points by a Left Winger halfway through the season.

Player Name: Willy Mack
2. Playing Career

Willy Mack was drafted to the SHL by the Edmonton Blizzard in the S44 draft. He was selected 9th overall in the 1st round and spent his junior career in Montreal. After his final season in Montreal came to an end he was called up to Edmonton for their playoff push in S45. The Blizzard ended up winning it all that season and in very limited minutes Mack did get a chance to have his name engraved on the Challenge Cup. Some players go their whole career without a win but Willy Mack got his first cup out of the way really early. The next season was Mack's official rookie year and he finished with 13 goals and was named to the all rookie team. That season did not end well as Calgary swept the Blizzard in the first round and Mack was left with a sour taste in his mouth. This season Willy started off strong with 7 goals but he hasn't scored in a couple weeks now and is really in his first big slump. Edmonton looks really great this year again as we have a great D core and goalie so Mack will be trying to get his 2nd cup.
