Well, we had one easy and one hard decision to make, but I'm happy to announce that all SMJHL teams officially have a GM again.
Congratulations to the new GM of the Anaheim Outlaws
And the new GM of the Vancouver Whalers
:peepocelly:
I am very excited to have this opportunity! Expect a presser to go up soon.
What was the thought process behind this decision?
No offense to MCP, he might be a good gm, who knows, but he's been here literally 3 weeks. You had people who were instrumental in building this cup winning roster behind the scenes, kind of disappointing not to get a chance to win b2b.

Agreed 100%. I gave Grok my suggestions and so did most of the management group. I feel those suggestions were ignored and they decided to give the team to someone who wasn't mentored by the former Whalers GMs like the other options. I've stepped down as advisor for the team because I don't want to help manage a team under an HO that ignores the suggestions of multiple internal management members to give the team to a new guy.
Damn, let the poor guy hire a Co before ripping on him for being a outsider.
"literally three weeks" he's been here eight months.
can y'all take it to the TD or something sheesh
