STL Punishment - SpartanGibbles - 02-08-2020
It has come to the attention of SMJHL HO that the St. Louis Scarecrows illegally played a goaltender that was called up to the SHL. The Goalie in question(Elizabeth Doyle) was called up for Thursday's sim in the SHL and was not sent down until Friday at 12:17 PM. Doyle played 2 games as the back-up for STL during this period.
After much discussion in HO we have decided upon the following punishment
1. 2M GM Fine to @Nictox and @TML99
2. 2 Game Suspension for Elizabeth Doyle effective immediately(Based on 2 games played illegally)
We thank STL Management for working with us on this as we gathered information.

punish the goalie because the SMJHL doesn't have systems in place for when goalies get called up seems good
Give nic and I the fine thats cool but 2 games for doyle is lame AF
if your going to start making junior teams carry 3 goalies then say so or if we need to move to a system were a team is given a 200tpe computer back then fine but at least have those systems in place before your going to punish a team
Nic did his job in posting in the thread that Doyle was called up, other then that i guess we could have "foreseen" this issue and warned HO urging to let us play a cpu backup but then in that hand everyone could have "foreseen" this yet nothing has ever been done.

SMJHL GMs who do not adjust their lines according to a call-up and double-play their player face the following consequences:
1. First Offense: $5.0M cap reduction the following season
2. Second Offense: $10.0M cap reduction, sanction against FA signings for the remainder of the current season
3. Third Offense: Termination from GM position
Why the fuck am i punished for this ?! @SpartanGibbles there is nothing in the rulebook saying the player should be suspended.
