- Zombiewolf - 02-28-2017 READY TO GRADE Word count: 327 So as all of you guys know a lover’s quarrel is going on between Portland and Laing. I am here to get to the bottom of the whole situation. So according to my investigations it seems that Laing still has a year and a half left in her contract. A huge contract that if you ask me was way too big! Did Laing really need that much money? Is Wally a push over who gives in to any players demands? Or is Laing being unreasonable about the contract? Who knows! Now what I find interesting about the whole situation is Laing does not have to sign a contract extension and yet Wallsters is forcing this contract down Laing’s throat. Why you ask? Well, it seems like Wally is giving her an ultimatum which is a terrible idea and only screwing over Wally in the long run. The ultimatum is either agree to sign this contract or I am going to cry in the SHL forums that you are screwing over my team. This does not look good for wally because to some it could be a sign of how Wally deals with contracts in the future. Like is that how he is going to deal with all of his players? Force them to agree to a contract extension when their previous contract still has over a year on it? Is that something we want? I did not want to take a side when the news first broke but I that changed when I figured out it comes down to players rights. That is something I stand firmly on. We should be treated better and these “ultimatums” are not the way to go. It was a mistake to give Laing a giant contract but that is not Laing’s fault. The contract was given and Laing has been in full support of Portland until Wally decided to screw her over. We must stand united to defeat the evil Wallster! - Allen - 02-28-2017 How can you stand with Laing if she's always on her knees 🤔 - GroupMeIsKindOfOkay - 02-28-2017 Zombiewolf the real MVP - GroupMeIsKindOfOkay - 02-28-2017 Quote:Originally posted by Allen@Feb 28 2017, 10:25 PMOnly for money tho - TML99 - 02-28-2017 Quote:Originally posted by Allen@Feb 28 2017, 09:25 PM ![]() - .bojo - 02-28-2017 Shake dat thangalaing - GroupMeIsKindOfOkay - 02-28-2017 now you know Zombie...dont sign in Portland unless you plan on bowing to Wally and staying for the rest of your life - BigTittySmitty - 02-28-2017 Quote:Originally posted by GroupMeIsKindOfOkay@Feb 28 2017, 10:26 PM 20 bucks is 20 bucks eh - Zombiewolf - 02-28-2017 Quote:Originally posted by GroupMeIsKindOfOkay@Feb 28 2017, 10:38 PM ![]() - Zoone16 - 02-28-2017 Remember, there's a difference between bending down and bending over. - GroupMeIsKindOfOkay - 02-28-2017 Quote:Originally posted by BigTittySmitty@Feb 28 2017, 10:42 PMGive me an easier way to make a buck and I'm all ears - Chris-McZehrl - 03-01-2017 Quote:Originally posted by Allen@Mar 1 2017, 05:25 AM :-? - iOBESE - 03-01-2017 - twils - 03-01-2017 Why didn't Wally just sign her to a longer contract? Could have just done a front loaded contract. If there was verbal agreement that Laing would re-sign for cheaper after, why not just put that in the original contract? - MWHazard - 03-02-2017 Quote:Originally posted by twils@Feb 28 2017, 11:48 PM I think the real question here is why didn't Atlanta run the ball more with a 28-3 lead? |
