It's interesting you'd mention that - a large part of our discussion was that not only was this cheating, it's also incredibly disrespectful to the people whose work was stolen. That was a significant factor in the disciplinary measures we took - this wasn't just your standard "used chatGPT" cheating, it was cheating in a way that was deliberately stealing the work of other members and using it for personal gain. I think most of us would find it upsetting if our work was stolen and used without our permission, regardless of what it was being used for.

People place value on their time, if they spend it doing a little imaginary work only to have others circumvent it for the same benefit then that feels unfair, doesn't matter how practical the end result is to survival

Harsh? I feel like it isn't enough, to blatantly do it for such a long period of time were it up to me I'd include suspension from league activity to the mix.
But that's just me. Geez, and to hear him say he wants to appeal ''to lessen the damage'' that feels sort of like a slap to the face considering he seems to not care.
