RE: S79 PT #1: All Of The Lights - hockeyiscool - 10-19-2024 Shawn Pawn angered the General manager of the Tampa Bay Barracuda by sleeping with their wife. He also screamed "hashtag worth", when confronted about it. This really sent the general manager into a rage. Shawn Pawn was actually pretty excited at the idea of him changing the lightbulbs because it gave an element of control to the project because those white LED bulbs are actually trash for everyone's eyes and their ability to see and long term vision and night vision. So instead of changing into those white bulbs he decided to use a combination of a full range of light spectrum- particularly lights in the red-purple spectrum, which will ultimately be better for everyone who attends a game. In turn, this allows for the light shows to have more of an orangish hue something similar to candle light which for retaining vision ability is one of the better methods of lighting. Obviously the consequence with candle light is that it has a fire risk, however since these are just the same frequency. Since the team will be familiar with practicing in these conditions the lighting will be a home game advantage. But he this calls on a small bit of revenge, because of this Furious Chicken decided to change all led bulbs to ones that can change their colors from distance, and maybe place a couple more than was explicitly stated beforehand. Now they were placed, it was just waiting for the next home match. Once the match was upon us it was finally time to make it happen. With some friends in the audience who had the remote the lights would color bright green on every goal from Buffalo. Once it was finally time for Chicken to make a goal, the lights lit up with his number. After the match it was decided to be a fun idea, and made to be a temporary permanent feature for the remainder of the season. Now to hope that once the season was over, it was either kept, or someone else got the ire of the manager, and Chicken did not need to replace them all once again. 186 words RE: S79 PT #1: All Of The Lights - the5urreal - 10-20-2024 Written Option 2 Atticus Hale is in his 16th SHL season, all with the New Orleans Specters, and is no stranger to the media. In fact, he’s a media veteran and at this point of his career he knows what to say and what not to say in any given moment. He isn’t a fan of interacting with the media but knows that is a necessary evil as a professional athlete. He’s often leaned on to show the new guys the ropes and to prepare them for the many media interactions they will face over the span of their careers. When it comes to marketing campaigns, there’s nobody more familiar to fans of the New Orleans Specters than Atticus Hale. Needless to say, he’s a huge part of those campaigns as the current face of the franchise. He is more than happy to take part in community outreach and interactions with the fans and finds that this is one of the more enjoyable aspects of his life off-ice. A quite simple task, if it were not for a constant undermining of staff because you angered them. Apparently wearing full hockey equipment (including skates) when entering the boss' office with his newly bought (extremely) fancy carpet is not a good idea if would like to have some spare time in your life. Very well, a task to replace all the bulbs in the arena shouldn't be that bad. Going by estimates it's only a rough estimate of 70-130 pieces... ABOVE THE ICE. Now that is a dangerous idea and it's most likely a good idea to get OSHA involved because this is just built for workplace accidents. If instead it is only related to actual bulbs for the toilets or alike, it's much less dangerous and much more boring. But I think the real question we need to ask here is why are the bulbs not LED already? [162 words] RE: S79 PT #1: All Of The Lights - Frenchie - 10-20-2024 Derek Martin is a longtime servant to his team. Drafted high and introduced to the team in what was then a pretty bleak prospect pool given they were so close to a previous cup win, he knew he had to be patient and that their time would come. Captain who led his team to two cups, Derek knows no wrongs, and as such anything that could've angered the general manager of this storied franchise must have been a grave misunderstanding. As such, when presented with this crazy plan, two things immediately pop into his head : first, why? second, how could Whitecap and Rashford ask their star player to take such a risk and risk injury or even worse, death... So it goes without saying that he had all he felt he needed to outright refuse to do this job, but over everything, he wanted to understand what happened. Well as it turns out, they misread a report from an internal complaint, and thought it was the captain who committed the deed, when it was someone else all along. Dialogue works, talk things out lads! RE: S79 PT #1: All Of The Lights - ec06aaj - 10-20-2024 Option 1: To be fair to the Seattle GM, he wasn't simply singling out Simo. He'd perceived a lack of compete from the entire squad at that point and was already steaming, having been convinced that this year was the year the young squadron took that next big step to become playoff punchers and being - in his words - "let down like a corpse into a goddamned open grave". Everybody on the main roster drew jobs out of a hat: a couple of folks accompanied the maintenance staff on their dirtier jobs, Shadow Fenix picked up a scrubbing brush and went to clean the toilets, and Simo landed the bulbs. And look, you know Simo by this point - furious on the ice, cool and stoic off it - and so, silently, the brick wall of Seattle took the trolley and went a-pushing. He knew that this wasn't a serious demand, to expect a single person to change every bulb in a 20,000 capacity arena in two days was mad; best just let to the big man get it out of his system and take the fury out on everybody else on the ice. Or take another puck to the face, either or. RE: S79 PT #1: All Of The Lights - Thelastheraclid - 10-20-2024 Graphic Option 1 RE: S79 PT #1: All Of The Lights - CrazyMojito - 10-20-2024 PROMPT 2 Jack St. Clair would never do anything to upset the Renegade's GMs, so the punishment of changing all the lights to LED fell on someone else. However, since he had some extra time he was forced to participate in the team's most recent marketing campaign. When St. Clair found this out he asked if he could do the lightbulb changeout instead but was denied. Jack used to love doing marketing and being the face of the franchise, but now in his older age the spotlight is something he has been trying to shy away from. He just wants to go out on the ice, do his job, hang out with his teammates, and go home. However, he doesn't half-ass anything so when he is tasked with helping out marketing he puts a big smile on his face and give the camera exactly what they want and delivers his lines with the precision of an Oscar winning actor. If he did a poor job they'd probably stop asking him to do it, but maybe he does enjoy the attention a little bit. RE: S79 PT #1: All Of The Lights - Dynamicmlb_42 - 10-20-2024 Written Option 1: Just before opening night a new law gets signed that requires every light on the stadium to be changed to led bulbs. And it just so happens that your player had angered the GM only few days ago so they do the only reasonable thing and make it your players job to change the bulbs, over the weekend. What did your player do to anger the GM? Was it intentional, accident, did they get framed or is it just a misunderstanding? How does your player perform the task? Or do they just outright refuse? Well, lets be honest here. This is Bernard Kochese. What could be better than getting a charge out of angering our GM? Its not because Kochese dislikes the GM, its just cause well its fun! I mean, lets be honest. Was Bernard really in the wrong here? One thing that describes Bernard though is disciplined. He enjoys his games but he also does what he is told. He gathers the materials to get this task underway. It would probably bother any other guy on the team but not him. As he completes the tasks to get this done, he also ponders what the season has been like thus far. Bernard looks like this so far: 16 Games Played 9 Goals 7 Assists 16 Points He isn't the top player on the team but he is getting the job done. The team has a long way to go to be the best that they can be but one thing that won't hinder Kochese is his determination to be at the top of his game at all times. He fights hard and plays hard. We are just gonna keep getting better and better as time goes by. Code: 195 words RE: S79 PT #1: All Of The Lights - NordicNailer - 10-20-2024 written option 1 Two days before opening night Abbe Wass and the GM had a discussion that got heated. Abbe complains that the lightbulbs are of the old type and should be changed to a more friendly LED light. But the GM says in one angry way that it's too expensive. After the new law get announced the GM goes up to Abbe with an evil looking grin on his face and tells him the good news. “Since you seemed so eager for this change of lightbulbs. I will give you the opportunity to, by yourself, do the change. And I need it done before opening night!” Abbe looks with surprise and in some kind of shock after the GM as he walks away with a laugh. After a while the GM stops, turns around and points to a storage room and says “you will find all the bulbs you need in here”. Abbe walks over to the storage room, looks in and finds 8000 lightbulbs and one ridiculous long ladder. He sighs, takes the ladder, one box of bulbs and start to change the light.
