RE: S81 mPT #2: Expand This - Z0REM - 02-27-2025 The SHL needs less time between seasons. I get recruitment and all, but the gap between someone not making playoffs and preseason is enough to drive people insane! Definitely need more of something and less of.thia boredom. RE: S81 mPT #2: Expand This - RAmenAmen - 02-27-2025 I don't think we should be chasing less of anything. The league is growing, and we should be proud of that and looking for more ways to add excitement and activity! More departments, more jobs, and more opportunities for all these new users! RE: S81 mPT #2: Expand This - Muford - 02-27-2025 I think the biggest thing we should have less of, is regression. I hate doing it, you hate doing it, we all hate doing it. So be done with regression, get rid of it. That would be a great thing that we would have less of. RE: S81 mPT #2: Expand This - anuragb - 02-27-2025 Expansion brings excitement and new opportunities, but adjustments must be made to keep the league balanced as the SHL welcomes more teams, players, and users. If growth continues unchecked, issues like inflation in TPE, earnings, and player strength could arise, leading to unsustainable conditions. The SHL could consider a few adjustments that wouldn't harm user engagement to maintain balance amid expansion. For instance, slightly lowering Chirper payouts could help manage money inflation as more users join. Additionally, while major tasks should retain their value, minor sources of TPE could be reduced to prevent excessive earnings. Another approach could involve softening regression for older players, allowing them to stay relevant longer and capping TPE growth for younger players to keep overall levels in check. Finally, rather than rapidly adding new teams, the league might benefit from stabilizing its current structure to ensure competitiveness remains strong. Ultimately, the focus should be on maintaining a fun and balanced environment for new and veteran players as the league evolves. RE: S81 mPT #2: Expand This - Urq660 - 02-28-2025 I know people from other sim leagues (looking at you ISFL) think the regression is unnecessarily gentle here, but at the same time football has a lot less guys who can be elite til late in their careers, comparatively. Hockey players certainly seem to last longer, despite the physical demands of the game, so maybe less regression? Please? Just for me? RE: S81 mPT #2: Expand This - Pyro182 - 02-28-2025 Im hoping for less back to back games. From a team perspective back to backs are where TPE advantage goes to die so for teams heading out of their rebuilds if you happen to also be one of the teams with over half your games as back to backs you will be fighting quite the uphill battle. RE: S81 mPT #2: Expand This - Aephino - 02-28-2025 The SHL should have less point tasks. They should one point task per season called the mega championship week and it's just every single PT and prediction task rolled into one. Half of it will be talking about the previous season. Half will be predicting the future season. Min 100 TPE for doing it, and then you get points for each one correct. Max 200 TPE for getting everything correct RE: S81 mPT #2: Expand This - Rtpc31 - 02-28-2025 The only thing I can think of that could be lessened is the time between seasons, but I do understand there needs to be time for a draft and international competition to take place. 34 words RE: S81 mPT #2: Expand This - G2019 - 02-28-2025 Less SEASONS in a career! Careers here are way too long. Who's got the attention span to be on the same player for 3+ years smh. Figure it out :mkek: RE: S81 mPT #2: Expand This - Marshi - 02-28-2025 Fewer TPE from fantasy. I am convinced earning TPE in fantasy is a myth anyway and not actually possible. If anyone has ever got any it must have been all luck anyway. So might aswell just reduce those mystical TPEs. RE: S81 mPT #2: Expand This - JuOSu - 02-28-2025 The SHL should have less people causing trouble like we just saw today in HOs announcement. Cant wait to see even less of that popping up in the future hopefuly RE: S81 mPT #2: Expand This - MrPrime - 02-28-2025 I would have to say lose less TPE to regression, which would prolong the careers of players and perhaps down the line see more records be broken which can spice things up by itself. RE: S81 mPT #2: Expand This - sköldpaddor - 02-28-2025 I waited all week to do this PT just so that I could say that I think the SHL should have less Nazis. Zero, in fact. Zero would be good. I hope we're at zero. If we aren't, I am coming for you. RE: S81 mPT #2: Expand This - Bingo97 - 02-28-2025 I really like the regression idea it adds more to a player and I feel like you need to do more chirps or media posts so your player doesn't face regression would be a cool idea RE: S81 mPT #2: Expand This - oknom - 02-28-2025 Im wondering if SHL could try to do less gated or siloed engagement and find ways to put the interaction more front and center? There are many communities within SHL but it feels like you gain access only incrementally over time. The main discord and forums don’t really feel like they capture the soul of the league. Really its lots of little pieces in each team LR, GM chat, etc that makeup everything. |
