That's true. At least as far as Tuch goes.
And we have some decent, albeit not great centers in the system.
Either way, I don't mind going for best available here, especially when I can add to our forward depth.
I'm not bashing the pick. You have a guy slip right in to your lap and while you may not need that position, you'd be stupid to not take him (wassup Couturier. Thanks CBJ Smile )

Haha yeah I don't know why I'm trying to justify drafting a guy who just lead his team to the WHL finals as a 17 year old!

If they still had Severson it wouldn't even be fair Tongue

Currently considering an offer for #21, if anyone else is interested in moving up then please let me know or I'll either take that deal or make the pick within the next few minutes Smile

I've got my backups, thank you very much. I really like Roy though :(

Tbh, the draft is one of my favorite parts of the season and I go really in depth on it
I had no problem drafting when I saw Roy was still available but if you were looking to move up I thought I'd give it a go. Roy and my 2nd choice wouldn't have made it to 27 though so I was gonna ask for a lot or just stick with my guy B)

With the 21st overall selection in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, the Buffalo Sabres are proud to select, from the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL, Thomas Chabot!

Going to be a stud. Was on the fence between him and Beauvillier for 18th

Now that the top 20 is out of the way the next ~30 picks are about to be an unpredictable shit show

Unpredictable in a good way though, this draft is loaded with talent.

Ugh there's a few players I want to pick here, but I'll go with a great all-arounder and someone who should flourish under Barry Trotz.

The Washington Capitals proudly select, from the U.S. National Team Development Program, forward Colin White.

Good pick, this is a strong year for American hockey

Yeah, I've always "known" this draft is super deep but until participating in this mock draft it didn't really hit me. A guy like Chabot not even going in the top 20? Kinda nuts.

WE HAVE A TRADE TO ANNOUNCE!

TO CBJ:
27th Overall

To PHI:
38th Overall
61st Overall

It most definitely is. It's nice to see even as a Canadian. Thought I better get in on the action. White has terrific 3 zone play so I think he'll work out well in Trotz' system.
