I became fascinated with the story of Brian Wilson and SMiLE after hearing Pet Sounds and that's probably why it ends up so high. I only listened to this album after I heard Rivers Cuomo recommend it for all Weezer fans, and it is seriously fantastic. Just a great easy listening album with great harmonies. Next album up (cuz I missed a day) is Remain in Light by the Talking Heads. An album I first listened to ages ago with a buddy of mine on his dads old vinyl record player, I have been in love since. An 80's classic, New Wave at it's finest.

The Smiths are probably one of my favourite bands ever, there isn't much more than that. I can accept Morrissey is a collassal douchecanoe, but he made some awesome jangly pop rock in the 80's. Weezer's first two albums spoke to me musically like no other (with Pinkerton just barely not making the top 10), they top my favourite stuff from the 90's, and I always feel good hearing their stuff come on (as long as it isn't Beverly Hills... Or anything after the early 2000's really). Their recent album was great though

Cuz listening to the proper tracks is too mainstream.

Undoubtedly one of their best songs, if not the best. I wish they would do some more work with Enter Shikari, or at least Rou. This song is fucking awesome, I can listen to it all the bloody fucking time.
