Written Option #2:

I haven't played many RPGs in recent years, but I'm sure the idea behind them all remain relatively the same.
Among some that I played in my younger years, there was a series of games with one game in particular that I enjoyed playing. That series was Phantasy Star and the specific game was Phantasy Star IV. Now the details are hazy as it's been quite some time since playing it last, though I do recall frequently encountering and defeating something called the Dark Force and thinking the game was over before it transformed and the game continued, much to my frustration. Come to think of it, I'm not sure if I ever finished the game in it's entirety and now I feel like I must.....but I digress.
There was a feature within the game that I always thought was cool. When casting spells or doing certain attacks with characters in your party, certain ones would combine to do a super combo. And playing in the era when figuring out what all of those combos were by trial and error instead of just googling the answer, it made for some fun gameplay.
With all of that being said, I guess that would be my choice to add into the SHL. I'm not entirely sure how it would work. And I suppose on some level, the chemistry that you build with your players and line-ups is sort of the same thing. But maybe players could unlock skills/spells and have the ability to use a certain one within the game and have the possibility to combine with their linemates to have greater/stronger abilities. Super speed? Power shot?
Maybe it's a bit far-fetched and ridiculous but it could be fun.

I share a room with one of the younger guys, really down to earth but whenever he has time he plays on the playstation. I he doesn't sit up all night with or anything like that. But he plays it a lot, I have played with him sometimes when he play NHL. I am worried since I've heard about proffesionell players getting gaming out of control. But I believe he's not that type, I've given him some hints tho when to turn it off. He turns it off sometimes but other times he doesn't get it. Currently he got this under control and I've told him I won't tell the Coach as long as it is that way. Since he never misses practice or dinner with the team, although he can stay up late he never does it when it's practice or match the next day.

Being distracted by videogames or any other stupid stuff on their phoneor poor on ice performance due to a videogame or media addiction is unacceptable to Shiny Rainbow. Conviniently Shiny is also very good at hiding things. So expect every single device to mysteriously disappear every single time. Noone will notice anything. And the younster in question can't say anything as long as they don't want anyone to find out about their addiction. But it will be their only choice: Go to the coaches or other teammates themselves and ask for help and assistance to solve their addiction and improve their on ice performance or having to buy new phones and gaming devices every single day until they are broke which will happen very soon. Because Shiny Rainbow is fast and stealthy. She sees everything, and she hides any new device in the blink of an eye. And nothing will ever be found ever again. Bye bye, gone forever. Isn't Shiny Rainbow the best Captain any rookie could ever ask for?

Option 1: kaarlo koivunen would consider more then a single option to do one of the first is that if it doesn't effect him and he enjoyes it i would leave it at that and if he is playing something kaarlo would enjoy too he would maybe join in to play with the younger player but if its definently a problem and effects the game then he has multiple options for example try to talk to the coaching staff about it and try to get them to do something or then try to talk to the player himself about it that the playing is becoming a problem and might effect his career in the future so he should consider doing something else in his free time too but kaarlo wouldn't go himself too radical and try to forcfellu stop him from playing video games or anything similar he would just either do nothing, tell the coaching staff or try to talk it trough himself

well bing ankus the glunk splosion is in fact one of the younger players on the team the atlanta inferno in fact he may actually be the youngest player on the team it is hard to say because i am not going to go through the portal to figure out the date that each player was created so let us just say he is among the youngest players on the atlanta inferno now he shared a room with that evil player i forgot his name but it does have evil in it @Gwdjohnson even though they dont actually currently play on the same team since they are both in the sim major junior hockey league they were playing together and rooming together in some prospect show case for the atlanta inferno so he noticed that the little evil guy was on his phone sometimes playing games but most of the time watching reels that were sent by @micool132 nathangus mcexplosion and of course since nathangus is a senior of the team gwid has to open all of his reels so really we should be blaming nathangus instead yeah what do you think do you think disciplinary action is required here for nathangus @hotdog @5ympathies @Jepox

So I don't really play many RPGs other than one and that one is Fallout. I, like others, LOVED New Vegas. Fallout 3 was great and I loved and enjoyed Fallout 4 but I think New Vegas in terms of enjoyment and replay factor is just bar none the best. Now how best to use elements from Fallout and the series as a whole in the league? Well I know were not facing off against super mutants unless you count playing San Francisco and their mutant ability to threepeat. I mean sure, you could sport Combat Armor, the lowest armor other than leather armor in NV and 4 on the ice but I feel like the league might get a little mad at the punishment that could do to a player. You could wear power armor but good luck getting the ice and floor fixed. Honestly, just give me VATS and a chance to score a clapper from my own goal and a 1% chance to score (of course with the Mysterious Stranger perk).

Written Option #1

I share this season with Rookie Djoe Anderson the room at road trips and he loves video games on consoles and also PC. He is nearly playing with that option so much he can. I also sometimes play strategy games on my PC but always at home. I would never take it with me on a road trip. It isn't so important for me. I was last season rookie and I shared also with an player with more experience the room. He was surprised that I don't use my mobile phone or something else. So I have decided to talk a bit with Djoe and wanted to find out why he needs those things so much. He told me that it is for him the perfect way to rest his brain in comparison to real life. I also explained to him that I sometimes play a bit but never at road trips to have the focus on my game and he is struggling lately. That this could be the reason for his struggling. I never would want or demand something from other humans but I try to help and explain that he maybe should try the small experiment that he will try the following 3 road trips to use those things a bit less and see if that will help with his performance in the SHL. Option 1:
Abbe would not destroy or remove the gaming device. He would by an extra controller and join the game. And after some nice bounding with the youth. Wich shouldnt be that hard because Abbe is also in his younger years. The player being more youtfull would open up and the words would never stop comming. And every gametime the youngester would speak more and more untill one day He would be so open and frendly he would tell Abbe how he feels and why always are gaming and not really doing a good job on the ice. And after that, Abbe would try to be a therapist and help him. but if that woudl do the trick, he would either go to the kids parents or he would go to the coach and ask what he should do. and only after that. there would be some action against the game device. probably just some hiding and not destroying. gaming devices aint cheep

As Max is an avid gamer himself he understands the allure of a good session and its ability to put your mind at rest to disconnect for a bit. This seems to be a bit more than though but Max has a plan.

One of his plans for after his playing days are over is to start a gaming company with a few friends from home. This might be require a bit of nuance but he comes up with an idea that blends coaching, tactics and game planning into a type of trivia game. As the graphics aren't super difficult and the logic behind the game is relatively simple, his team he's assembled is able to out together a prototype rather quickly.

When it's ready he shows it to his coaches and explains the idea came about after he noticed Player X was spending too much time gaming. They love idea and they put together a contest for all the players on the team to take part in. It ends up being a highly competitive event for the team with daily, weekly, monthly and end of season rewards.

The best part is that Player X took right to it and became one of the top tier players while learning more about the team strategy, tactics etc and they were never singled out for gaming too much.

Players deserve downtime imagine getting someone complaining that you were playing video games before you go to work tomorrow that just isn’t right is it . so I would speak to the younger player and make sure he knows that this should not and can not affect him on the ice or I’ll be the first to tell him then I would hop on and play a few games with him  . As far as the coaches I would talk to them and let them know what I said to the player and that they should monitor it but not do anything hasty as the player might not react well to being told what they can do on there free time especially at a young age and could end up with him going clubbing on away trips which would be worse and would be a detriment to team success and group morale

RE: S82 PT #2: It's In The Game - Zinny - 05-04-2025

1.
I feel similarly to other replies in here in that as long as the players quality of play hasn't dipped at all, I wouldn't bother them about it. If anything, I would be more concerned with their ability to fit in with the team since they're always by themselves. So I would encourage them to participate in team activities, hang out together, work out together. If there came a point where I thought they doing a poor job preparing for games or staying in game shape, I would bring it up to them and say that it either stops now, or the game system will suffer an *accidental* fall. And since Xbox systems just went up like a million dollars, that would hopefully get them to stop.
Additionally, if it didn't become an issue, I'd also offer to game with them because that can also be a team bonding thing to build a relationship.
