RE: S79 mPT #5: Expectations Subverted - Urq660 - 11-17-2024

Inge Baardsen gave a better account of himself offensively than I expected! He was gearing more towards his two way play and being on the third line with a bit of PK time doesn’t generally lend well to improving your offensive numbers, but he did!

RE: S79 mPT #5: Expectations Subverted - Ragnar - 11-17-2024

I expected to at least lead my team, or maybe be in the top two, in hitting, but I barely had 50 hits this season, even with 20 hitting and 19 checking.

RE: S79 mPT #5: Expectations Subverted - MrPresident - 11-17-2024

I expected Kristian Seppanen, the right defenceman for the Atlanta Inferno hockey team of the SHL, to win MVP during the regular season but he hasn’t won it yet

RE: S79 mPT #5: Expectations Subverted - RashfordU - 11-17-2024

I think I get to this point every season and wonder how much time Rashford has left.  I feel I have done all that I can do with him, but I also never expected to retire.  It is something that I never planned for

RE: S79 mPT #5: Expectations Subverted - Halkohol - 11-17-2024

At first I expected us to make playoffs easy. Then I was sure we were going out 4-0 in the first round. So everything regarding MAN and playoffs I'd say has been unexpected!

RE: S79 mPT #5: Expectations Subverted - mer - 11-17-2024

I wish I'd updated more haha, but I'm super happy the Rage made it to the playoffs and took it to game 7! Would have loved the team going on, but the Forge is our storied enemy so at least it grows the narrative.

RE: S79 mPT #5: Expectations Subverted - Chris - 11-17-2024

I was expecting to have a dominant final season in the j and that didn't happen and also I did not expect Atlanta to get this far in da playoffs

RE: S79 mPT #5: Expectations Subverted - zeagle1 - 11-17-2024

I expected Atlanta to go undefeated during this season and tragically they have not! I really thought this would be our year but hotdog and micool lied to me and now i'm upset

RE: S79 mPT #5: Expectations Subverted - LeakyCink - 11-17-2024

I did not expect the Winnipeg Aurora to make the playoffs. This was supposed to be one more rebuilding year before the competitive window opened, and a short lived playoff run was entirely unexpected.

RE: S79 mPT #5: Expectations Subverted - Steelflex - 11-17-2024

I didn't expect to have a decent first season in the bigs considering my early promotion, but the Seattle GMs really helped me make the most of my TPE and I felt like I played an important, if not small, role on the team that helped us make our playoff push!

RE: S79 mPT #5: Expectations Subverted - Toast - 11-17-2024

Something I didn't expect to happen was the absolute offense production that Toasty found. It was great to pretend there was a story to it with the changes on the team and get to follow it through the regular season

RE: S79 mPT #5: Expectations Subverted - MattyJ - 11-17-2024

I expected to be on the same team the whole season lmao. Excited for new opportunities but never expected that to be honest. Let’s go Syndicate.

RE: S79 mPT #5: Expectations Subverted - ztevans - 11-17-2024

Despite my build, I did not expect Aslak Hestnes to lead Quebec City in blocked shots or defensive grade this season at 350 TPE. Who knows what could be in store next season.

RE: S79 mPT #5: Expectations Subverted - Whitecap - 11-17-2024

Calgary as a team just continues to impress me. Not that I expected them to be bad, but I felt they did better last season than I expected, so maybe that this season they may come back down a little bit. But they remain a top team and now I know not to underestimate them, so props to the Dragons.

RE: S79 mPT #5: Expectations Subverted - CrazyMojito - 11-17-2024

Just like death and taxes, Jack St. Clair scoring 45 goals on the season is a guarantee. 5 out of the last 7 seasons that is the total he ended with.
