Avery was never suspended(as far as I know) for anything except the stupid shit he said, he's still dirty. Hell, Matt Cookes first suspension was in 2008. It doesn't mean he wasn't dirty before that. Suspensions don't necessarily correlate to dirty players. The dirty plays do. And I view a cheapshot punch as the lowest of dirty plays. - BasedMinkus - 05-18-2013 Quote:Originally posted by SensNation613@May 17 2013, 07:38 PM Did u watch what he did to Sutter? Or do u have the blinders on - xDParK - 05-18-2013 Neil is dirty - Jaymay - 05-18-2013 Lol, Neil is dirty, but Matt Cooke's one clean year makes him not dirty anymore. #JTLogic - BasedMinkus - 05-18-2013 What he did was dirty. I didn't call him dirty. I called him a gutless puke. And it has been 2 seasons for Cooke now - SensNation613 - 05-18-2013 Quote:Originally posted by RehnX@May 17 2013, 10:50 PM No you take shots to try and get them off their game, dirty players try and do alot more than that and try and injure him/end his career. That Anaheim series was extremely physical and had very questionable hits, in a series like that, you cant suspend everyone who throw hits like those, there would be no one left on the teams tbh. The Reich hit was between the shoulder and elbow, and the one on the Ranger player was shoulder to body. Btw calling the Despres hit dirty is idiotic, even Despres knew it was his own fault for not paying attention. Neil got a penalty on the Letang punch and Pittsburgh got a pp off it, so he basically put his team down one man. - GroupMeIsKindOfOkay - 05-18-2013 Quote:Originally posted by RehnX@May 17 2013, 10:50 PMwe have different definitions of dirty then if you think every team has dirty players - Maxy - 05-18-2013 Quote:Originally posted by SensNation613@May 18 2013, 06:54 PMThere was only one dirty hit in the Anaheim series and it was the Abdelkader hit (Which was suspended) What Neal did was worse than anything that happened in the Anaheim Series imo - Maxy - 05-18-2013 Quote:Originally posted by Mr. Nice Guy@May 18 2013, 06:59 PMI can't really think of a team who doesn't have a questionable player overall. But maybe I am just not thinking hard enough  - SensNation613 - 05-18-2013 Quote:Originally posted by Maxy@May 18 2013, 07:03 PM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bJXgDCbICM Pronger says otherwise - Hallsy - 05-18-2013 Quote:Originally posted by Maxy@May 18 2013, 05:04 PM I want to say Phoenix/ Florida for some reason but I could be wrong. - Hallsy - 05-18-2013 Quote:Originally posted by Maxy@May 18 2013, 05:03 PM It's neil god dammit - Hallsy - 05-18-2013 Spezza is playing tomorrow, I don't think he will be a big factor in the game but he could boost everyone up. It will be quite interesting to watch - SensNation613 - 05-18-2013 Spezza will be huge imo, he was suppose to miss 2 months and I feel hes game ready, I really hope he can bring Michalek back to himself, hes been grinding in the corners more than anything and we need him to put pucks on net. - RehnX - 05-18-2013 No sir, doesn't try to injure no one ever. The Despres result was clean, LOOK at where his Elbows are on the hit. He got them up and tried to hit someone high for no reason, THAT is dirty. Is Cooke is aiming for Savards head and Savard turns and Cooke only hits his shoulder, is the play suddenly not dirty? Does it change the intent? No, because Cooke is still hitting high. And yes, every team has at least one dirty player, again, it's sadly part of the game. In fact, I have a hard time thinking of a team that doesn't have a dirty player. . . |
