I was hoping that the Montreal Patriotes could clinch a spot in the playoffs this season. Sadly it didn't happen. Not to worry. I can see them being a force to be reckoned with in the very near future!!!

For Betzee, I expected her to get into at least one fight this season. She has spent so much TPE into fighting and aggression plus has gotten into one fight the past two seasons so i expected the trend to continue.

I expected the Philadelphia Forge to regress in their abilities this season, after losing a few players to aging out. However, 1st in the league and now going to the ECF.

I expected for Rasmus to go out there and score about 30 goals. I felt like he had a really good offseason and while that's not your typical defenseman's scoring output, Rasmus isn't your typical defenseman so why not? He obviously did not hit that mark, but it would've been cool.

Elly expected that there would be a rise in animal themed sports concessions and memorabilia, and alas the amount inceased slightly but not so much. Maybe some more kitty eyes and future seasons will bring more.

I expected our team to do well, and Texas did real well. I didn't expect us to start tanking the last week of the season, that was most unwelcome and I blame anything and everything except ourselves

I was expecting my team the Detroit Falcons to do well this season and go pretty deep in the playoffs, but turns out that losing an elite goalie and a few max cap players does make a difference to our performance...

For my player and my team, the regular season went roughly as expected. We expected to be one of the top teams in the league in LA, and we were. My player took a bit of a step backwards in points as he should have. I was hoping to break 100 points again, but was pretty sure it wouldn't happen, and it didn't.

I think the biggest thing that I expected to happen was for San Diego to lose much quicker than pushing it to a game 7, so that was definitely an exciting surprise.

I can't say I expected to lead the league in points this season, or to win the Laurifer Trophy. Though after all these years with the Citadelles I shouldn't be surprised at this point. The best linemates and teammates always make the best of it.

I did not fully expect for Literally Wizard to have as good of a season as he did. Wizard put up 76 points in his first season with Calgary which is astonishing for his first season there.

I'm super happy that Lily Jin Morrow finally hit the point per game threshold! She just missed it by a couple points last season, so super stoked she was able to pull through and finally get it this season. Hoping for her continued improvement and success in the coming seasons!

Something unexpected personally was JR Frankenstero having the 4th most points in his career this season.  The Journeyman is getting points somehow, no matter where he is playing each season.

RE: S79 mPT #5: Expectations Subverted - UptownCord - 11-17-2024

Well, the New Orleans Specters expected to be good this season, but alas we were kinda just mid. Also, my goalie at the best hes ever been was also just mid.

I didn't expect nl to lose so quickly but that's how the sim goes sometimes. You can make the best team but still come out on the bottom.
