I like it a lot. Rather low effort (8 TPE per week from activity checks, reduces to 3 per week when you enter regression).
You can still do 200 word media pieces for an extra 2 TPE per week but there isn't a huge need for big media pieces or anything like that since you don't pay for training. It's an 80 game schedule so more simmed games per day. Scoring isn't insanely high, I think it's about what the SHL would look like if we extrapolated everything to 80 games.
Offseasons are short, playoffs are short (only 4 of the 6 teams make the playoffs, bottom 2 teams play a 7 game series for 1st Overall). Players are capped at 500 TPE so there aren't any Crosbys running around. Skaters/Goalies follow the same update scale. No banking TPE.

I like the sounds of this a lot, and it seems like a good, low-effort league for those sick of the plodding SHL offseasons. I give it a GoB Seal of Approval based on WF's explanation.

plus, I also run a fantasy league during the season and a nice little international tournament during the off season as well which is usually just actives only and some inactives
