That's a tough one because there's probably some context that needs to be filled in to make a decision. If I was the NL GM then? Or if I had to reorder the draft class?
Probably if I'm NL GM at the time I probably wouldn't make any changes to who they ended up picking, maybe minus a few busts here and there. For example
4OA: Steve Harrington (keep)
17OA: Juke Timonen (controversial, but keep)
33OA: Ryan Aaron (when Sven Svenson is on the board right after, that's a shame)
37OA: Patric Twist (Probably some other later picks earned more than this guy but wouldn't want to miss out on my RL master, keep)
47OA: Magnus "The Ogre" Orrsen (who? Rikkard Hammarberg on the board right after too, what are the chances)
50OA: Vince Chalut (promising career but his legacy is one that lasts longer than his TPE gain, keep)
52OA: Andrei Kostitsyn (many talk about steals such as Ethan Duncan and whatnot, but this is the true steal of the draft)
56OA: Ryuuji Minamino (Not much to say about this other than it's hard to kind of imagine the "what if's" when all 10 teams at the time passed over you repeatedly but it's been a match made in heaven)

Defense because they're the ones that go on breakaways all the time. Lineups is a good question, we'll have to talk about that since we're both fairly FHM heavy people and now it's more of a dialogue between us than it was between us and Corey.

It might be impossible but I want to somehow have as even keel of a tenure as possible. While the J's faster cycle definitely means there's lot of turnover, trying to reduce that bottoming out to prevent the longer term impacts of being a worse team would be ideal. It's hard to imagine the kind of stress and difficulty that comes with have a team that regularly performs lower in the standings where as even if you do make it a couple steps further, suddenly there's a lot more hope to build off of, that affects both players and management.

1. I've seen it before from being HO intern but the amount of nonsense that goes on in there is overwhelming at times. "Maybe there's something important to back read to" Nope. Love being part of it though.
2. I think just from our faces leading the franchise is already a big change for everybody both inside and on the outside. A lot of players will be moving on and there's going to be a lot of new blood, without having to make changes for the sake of marking our stamp and having things different, it's going to be whether we want it to be or not.
3. I don't know, we're basically the same person minus the alcohol content.

I'm already hamming, squirming and panicking as we speak.
Don't think I could have asked for two more different but more compatible GMs to have been drafted by and worked with. There's going to be a day when I get to say the same things you do about dipping out and I hope I get to have the same degree of accomplishment when I do.
