- jkrever - 07-05-2013 ![]() Jaden Button Brent Button Urijah Winnfield (following pre-season) - JNH - 07-05-2013 Quote:Originally posted by teztify@Jun 23 2013, 08:52 AM So shouldn't Buttons be going to MTL? - Donini13 - 07-05-2013 Quote:Originally posted by JNH@Jul 5 2013, 09:09 AM no...spangle just finished saying sent down doesn't count... "last junior team they played for before being drafted to the SHL" - JNH - 07-05-2013 Quote:Originally posted by Donini13@Jul 5 2013, 09:25 AM But if you read my quote, Tez says something completely differently when clarifying the new rule... - Carl - 07-05-2013 Okay, we should definitely clear this up. It's definitely interesting, and I think both sides are a good option but I'm kinda leaning towards going to the last team that you were on before you were drafted... it makes more sense and definitely feels a lot more fair and more towards what we're going for... unless of course you're affiliated with the impact, in which case you will almost definitely disagree with me... - BigTittySmitty - 07-05-2013 I think the Button's would be heading to the team that they were drafted from so I believe that'd be Kelowna. - Donini13 - 07-05-2013 Quote:Originally posted by Carlzner@Jul 5 2013, 09:42 AM exactly this What would be the point of removing PDCs if all players drafted before this year would still technically be on their PDC team - Toast - 07-05-2013 Whatever team a player played on before being drafted to the SHL is his SMJHL team. No exceptions to that unless you trade for the player's rights or something. --- ![]() - JNH - 07-05-2013 Okay thank you for clearing that up. I was just confused because Tez said something and then Spangs said something else so I was mixed up. - Spangle - 07-05-2013 Quote:Originally posted by JNH@Jul 5 2013, 11:01 AM He really doesn't, but regardless, I'm correct. Send downs do not count. - JNH - 07-05-2013 Quote:Originally posted by Spangle@Jul 5 2013, 10:39 AM All he said was last team they played for ![]() Anyways, oh well, I'll live ![]() - Carl - 07-05-2013 So how will this work with inactives? Because they're still pretty important for depth, I was looking at my roster with draftees and it's still really really light. I'm sure it is as well for most of the other teams. Can we try and figure something out in regards to inactive send downs? - Schultzy - 07-06-2013 Quote:Originally posted by Carlzner@Jul 5 2013, 09:57 PMMaybe each SMJHL team should be able to sign 2-3 inactives from their team budget? I think we've allowed that in years past. - Carl - 07-06-2013 Quote:Originally posted by malcontentcapsfan@Jul 6 2013, 07:15 AM Well yeah we still have those. But on top of that we had inactive send downs from SHL teams. I have no idea where any of them were drafted by and it also provided some depth. Maybe if theres a way to still have PDCs and just have inactive send downs from those PDCs? Idk how that would work. - Snappy - 07-06-2013 Holy fuck dis Mix Up. Example, O'Callahan drafted by ![]() O'Callahan was traded from ![]() O'Callahan drafted to New England O'Callahan would be sent down and returned to the team he last played for, the :impact: |
