I was just gonna say the obvious that said research came from looking through old forums, and S10 were the only results I could find.
Obviously if you can remember more tournaments that's more valid, it's just that I couldn't find anything concrete at the time

I'm not sure either actually. I only remember with certainty that there was one... I thought that there was at least a second one as well but I'm not a 100% on that so it could very well be that there just was the one.

I remember I worked my ass off on Morley, doing everything possible for TPE and I think I hit 1700 before regression fucked me in the ass. So yeah, 2,000 TPE was unheard of back then.

From my research I could also tell that for the first dozen or so seasons IIHF had a lot of leadership turnover and went through 3 or 4 different iterations of what it was, so it's entirely possible that more were planned and then IIHF reform and just a different commish's agenda scrapped the idea.
