RE: Season 55 Hall of Fame Ceremony - Wearingabear - 09-25-2020 We’d like to welcome our next presenter, Texas native, Matthew McConaughey to help induct our next member of the SHL HOF. ![]() RE: Season 55 Hall of Fame Ceremony - Wearingabear - 09-25-2020 Before we do that we have a special performance from Texas natives Power Trip performing their song “Executioner’s Tax (Swing of the Axe)” RIP Riley Gale RE: Season 55 Hall of Fame Ceremony - Wearingabear - 09-25-2020 Matt: I’m sorry about my emotions here, I get very excited when I see another Texan kick ass in the world. I’m proud to talk to about my favorite player to watch who was born and raised in Texas, and although he didn’t play here, he still stood out amongst locals who went to his training camps. RE: Season 55 Hall of Fame Ceremony - Wearingabear - 09-25-2020 This player was drafted 9th Overall by the Minnesota Chiefs and played there for 15 years before traded away to Edmonton, and finally finishing his career in Winnipeg. Recently inducted into the Minnesota Hall of Fame, he helped lead them to a Mathias Chouinard Eastern Conference Championship followed by a Challenge Cup Championship in Season 39, a perennial All Star, and an all time great scorer. During his career he made a name for himself as a points getter, and became one of the best in the league. He currently sits 3rd Most Goals, 5th Most Assists, and 3rd Most Points All Time and still holds the Minnesota Franchise Goals record. RE: Season 55 Hall of Fame Ceremony - Wearingabear - 09-25-2020 When he announced his retirement, nobody thought any different that he would have been a first ballot Hall of Famer. https://simulationhockey.com/showthread.php?tid=105766&pid=2821113#pid2821113 RE: Season 55 Hall of Fame Ceremony - Evok - 09-25-2020 09-23-2020, 04:59 PMhhh81 Wrote: Biscuit, Light, and Kruger or riot are the pitchfork sharp RE: Season 55 Hall of Fame Ceremony - Wearingabear - 09-25-2020 Please Welcome Terrance Nova to the SHL Hall of Fame! @sarmo 76 Votes ![]() CAREER STATS: 437 Goals, 3rd best 569 Assists, 5th best 1006 Points, 3rd best 1050 GP 17th best PP Goals 80, 14th best GWG 67, 8th best Shoot Out Goals, 25, 9th best Hat Tricks 13, 2nd best Awards: S33 SHL All Rookie Team S34 3rd All Star Team S38 2nd Team All Star S39 Mathias Chouinard Trophy – Eastern Conference Champ S39 Challenge Cup Chiefs S40 Mathias Chouinard Trophy S46 Ron Mexico League MVP by committee S46 Sergei Karpotsov Most Points RE: Season 55 Hall of Fame Ceremony - Weretarantula - 09-25-2020 Congrats boys!! RE: Season 55 Hall of Fame Ceremony - Wearingabear - 09-25-2020 Originally drafted by the Toronto North Stars in Season 39, they made their debut for the team in Season 40 and played for 4 years, putting up okay numbers for an okay team. After missing the playoffs for his entire stretch, a trade happened that forever changed his life. The Edmonton Blizzard acquired this future All Star Goalie in a Goalie for Goalie Trade. Once arriving in Edmonton, his skills reached another level. A 7 time All Star including 3 First Team, 3 Third Team and Rookie Team. This 14 year veteran took the league by storm in the 40’s and early 50’s. He won two Challenge Cups in Seasons 45 and 49.
