Archetypes aren’t really an end all be all solution. PBE uses them and there are meta archetypes that are much better than others (junkballer as an SP, for example)

There's some much archetypes that nobody uses. We should explain each one of them when when we create a player.
For the special abilities, we should be able to buy them or distribute them among the league. That's a feature we don't use actually and it would be fun to add!

I kinda like this idea. As a freshly minted SMJHL rookie, I'm sorta sitting here wondering what the big bank account is for? I got millions and millions of buckazoids, but seemingly very few options on which to spend it. (Can't find any yachts for sale). Is it just me, or don't most folks like a little shopping spree every now and then?
So yeah, why not buy special abilities (limit of three) at ridiculously high prices?!!
