RE: S78 mPT #0: The Myth - spidey - 08-05-2024 I am more likely to never reach free agency, the only reason I would is if my team no longer had a need for Webb and allowed me to walk. If I went to free agency I would be looking for opportunity for personal success as we have already reached the cup in San Francisco. RE: S78 mPT #0: The Myth - ibuprofenaddict - 08-05-2024 Marek is my first player to its hard to say what will or will not happen. Additionally i dont spend as much time on discord as others, so my acquaintence net isnt so wide that i know or understand the people who make up the other teams or thier front offices. I assume my first test of free agency will be if im not renewed for some reason, i dont anticipate forcing it on myself. RE: S78 mPT #0: The Myth - JamesT - 08-05-2024 Code: Free agency usually isn't really that exciting in SHL. What would it take for you to seek a new team in free agency? Or if you wouldn’t ever do so, why not? I got to experience free agency for the first time when I tested it and eventually went from CHI to WPG in a sign and trade move. FA is like going through scouting again for the draft and I know a lot of people enjoy. It was fun to have teams pitch to me and want me to play for their team. (62 words) RE: S78 mPT #0: The Myth - Puppy - 08-05-2024 No real reason to consider looking for a new team. Montreal is already an exciting place to be, and given a lot of starting minutes to come with great teammates, it’s the place to be. RE: S78 mPT #0: The Myth - Z0REM - 08-05-2024 The only way Seamus leaves the wolfpack is if the GM decides that it's time to move on and bring in a player in the pipeline. He want's what is best for the team. It is unlikely that Seamus is going to break any more records, so a team picking up Seamus at that point is going to have to be a team guaranteed to make playoffs so that Seamus can continue to pad his leading playoff shot blocks. RE: S78 mPT #0: The Myth - enigmatic - 08-05-2024 I'm not the biggest fan of free agency because I hate having to make choices but I've tested FA in the past because I wanted to get a Challenge Cup with any team. Just doesn't seem in the cards for me so I don't think I'll leave LA unless we become a dumpster fire in the next few seasons. RE: S78 mPT #0: The Myth - Chris - 08-05-2024 The only reason I would enter free agency is if my team cuts me from the team if I was gonna leave the team it was gonna be from a trade. RE: S78 mPT #0: The Myth - Froste39 - 08-05-2024 Having a dead Locker Room would probably convince me to seek out Free Agency. Also down the line, when my player has reached a lot of TPE I of course want to see some success. RE: S78 mPT #0: The Myth - CloudRobot - 08-05-2024 Free Agency, I'm not gonna say its something I havent considered doing looking back and forward. Right now, I'm just taking it one season at a time with Toronto and we will see how things go and turn up. RE: S78 mPT #0: The Myth - Australiankek - 08-05-2024 I mean free agency does sound pretty fun, but I want to be loyal to my team. Maybe in my regression years, I could go to a team that is ensured to win the cup, but I'm sure I would want to retire with my original team. RE: S78 mPT #0: The Myth - fancey13 - 08-05-2024 Nope, not on my radar at the moment. I don't think I'd consider leaving my team in free agency solely because my experience has been great on both Nevada and Baltimore. Couldn't have asked for anything better so why risk it and leave! RE: S78 mPT #0: The Myth - r0tzbua - 08-05-2024 I never went and looked for another team in Free Agency and I do not think that is something I would ever do, but if it came to it it would probably be if my current team does not need my services right now and would help them more if I would be gone. 54 words RE: S78 mPT #0: The Myth - RAmenAmen - 08-05-2024 Hey, I did this, sort of! I always saw myself as an Edmonton lifer, but when it came time to do a full tear down it didn't make sense for me to stay. The best thing I could do to help my team was leave, and now I have a summer home in San Fran! RE: S78 mPT #0: The Myth - lore - 08-05-2024 The idea of free agency doesn't sound appealing at all, so it would take a hell of a lot for me to willingly go through it. I don't like change, and I really don't care about the money. RE: S78 mPT #0: The Myth - st4rface - 08-05-2024 Seeking a new team is always a weird thing. I think that there should be a good reason to do such a thing. Either bad team results, weak individual statistics, weird relationship with team or something like that. I think that it's cooler to play for one team only. |
